Of a truth, it is good to be hard-working; they will always say for you to be successful, you need to be hard-working. Is working hard the one factor for one to be successful? The more I grow older, I have come to realise that hard work doesn’t guarantee you success.



If hard work is the only reason for one to be successful, the majority of the people will be successful. For me, hard work is not enough to make someone successful; there are other factors that fasten success.



I see hard work without connection as a waste of time; it will only take God's grace to remember, but if you have a connection, everything will be so fast. Connection is very powerful; just a phone is capable of offering you something you have been struggling to get.

Once you have the right connection, you don’t need to stress yourself. I get to understand how powerful connection is. There is this job I have been pushing for years now. The company keeps declining my proposal. I went to visit my brother, who was a priest, and I was telling him about the job I have been trying to secure for my company. The moment I mentioned the name of the company, my brother told me that the owner of the company worships in his parish. My brother called him, and he came over. Luckily for me, the proposal was with me; he signed it. That was how I was able to get that job. There is this popular saying, Follow who has no road. Connection is very important; that is why everyone is struggling to have connection because with it you don’t need to stress yourself.





Hard work without meeting people is as much as doing nothing. Someone that wants to be successful will not rely only on hard work; you have to go out and meet people who will offer opportunities for you. There are some people that become successful just by meeting someone. You can’t get connection if you don’t go out and meet people. Make sure you build a relationship that will add value to you and also to them.



Believing in yourself is one factor; working hard is another thing. Believing in yourself always means having this mindset that it is a process and continuing to push yourself. Don’t relax when you have not gotten there. Believing in yourself and working hard will bring you closer to your success.

One can be successful by working hard; the factors I mentioned above will speed up the hard work, and you don’t need to work much.
