Good day, amazing people of Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hiveghana community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt. Imagine your day suddenly had 29 hours instead of 24 hours. What will you do with the extra 5-hour bonus?

There is no human we will not jump up hearing '5 hours free, no work, just for yourself'. Hearing an extra five hours bonus Gladys, my heart, more especially, it is free time; no extra work is attached to this time. I was just telling my friends that 24 hours is not enough for me to carry out my daily activities. I hardly have time of my own. Seeing an extra 5 hours as a bonus, I went into imagination. Imagine how I will utilise these 5 free hours of mine. At this point I have to come back to reality, but if it could come to reality, I would grab the opportunity with my full chest.





One thing about us humans is we are never satisfied with the things we have. Believe me, if we are given an extra five hours as a bonus, we will still complain that it is not enough. That is just the truth. If an extra hour is added to the time, I will appreciate it. Giving us extra time is not really the problem; what matters is what we are going to do with those extra hours.



Like I said before, if an extra five hours are added to me, I will appreciate it because there are some skills I would like to acquire, but due to how busy my schedule is, I have not been able to meet up with the skill. Having an extra five hours will really help; I will not use the whole five hours for the skill; I will diligently use three hours to acquire the new skill, and the other two hours I will use for self-care.

***Do you think that the extra five hours will change our lives?***




Above all, I don’t really think that extra five hours is really necessary. What matters is managing our time properly; we should allocate time to every activity we perform daily. I always think that 24 hours was not enough for me, but the moment I visited my elder sister, I realised that 24 hours was enough. She is so organised; every minute means a lot to her. From the time she wakes up in the morning, she has already allocated time she will use to finish every task she is doing. I think time management is the secret here; even if we are given that extra five hours, believe me, it still won't be enough; we will still complain of not having enough time.





We should make every second count; we should always be conscious that whatever second we miss can’t be gotten back. With this, you have disciplined our minds.
