Good day, and happy weekend, amazing people of Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. I am so delighted to have you in my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt coding and tech.

There are many subjects that I was taught in school, both in nursery, primary, secondary and university, that are not relevant. Most things – I always ask myself what the need for teaching kids subjects that will not be relevant in the future I just remember a maths problem back then, finding X. Why is there a need for teaching kids subjects that they will not apply in real life? My country is so good at teaching relevant subjects that will not help kids. They need to understand that things have changed and, as things are changing, the need to adapt to the changes.

In other developed countries, they understand that the world is becoming global and technology is ruling the world presently. They are there for their kids to explore and provide them with the necessary things and guide them. I have this niece of theirs who studied outside the country; the first time she visited Nigeria, I was so amazed that at her tender age she could develop a website and create a software app on her own, something I have no knowledge about. I made her my close friend because I wanted to learn something from her before she went back; she was able to teach me Python coding.

If coding and tech are put in this kid's curriculum so that at a very tender age they will be introduced to tech, it is very important to lay a good foundation for this kid. Tech is one skill that is needed in our world today; looking at the way things are going, everything is becoming digital coding and tech are two of them.

Coding is the process of using the language that a computer understands. By programming the computer, a computer can’t take instructions if it is not programmed. That is, programming is the language that a computer understands. Coding helps the computer to carry out a specific task, develop a website and also solve problems. Tech and coding work in line; it is very necessary that these kids should have knowledge about coding and tech before they leave college.

This should not be a question of whether coding and tech should be made compulsory. The world is becoming a global village, and we need to learn coding and tech. Time will come. If you don’t have knowledge in coding or tech, you will pay highly for people to assist you. Coding is an important skill in today’s digital world; it makes the world easy and is beneficial to both companies and individuals. It helps to solve problems, innovation and digital literacy.

It will be nice if these kids are given the opportunity to have basic knowledge of coding and tech, giving these kids

If children get this kind of knowledge at an early age, it will not be bad at all, but it will be much better for their future. The coming era is of computers and we have to do everything sitting on the computer, we also have to do our jobs sitting on the computer.
