My weather and i

Good day, amazing people of the Hive blockchain! Welcome back to my blog. I am so delighted writing this prompt in the #scifimultiverse topic. What is the different weather in your country? Which of them is your favorite?

In my country, Nigeria, we only have two weathers The rainy season and the dry season: there is a season for everything; that is why the world is perfectly created by God. Once this season ends, another season starts. The two seasons are very important because we humans can’t do without these two seasons. Water is one of the essential things that plants, animals, and humans need. The rainy season is a blessing to humans.

The rainy season is between March and October. I can remember back to days when I was still a kid. I would always pray for it to rain. I enjoyed playing under the rain. This season is very important to farms; it helps to nurture their farm products. The rainy season is the best season for farmers. It comes with abundance. Harvest crops can’t survive if it isn’t rainy. I can remember the story that my granny told us about rain not falling in the land that all their plants die, their animals, and humans. The rain is very important to humans, plants, and the ecosystem. If it’s not rainy, there is no way the streams, lake, and so on can replenish.

One thing about the rainy season is that in some areas it affects the people living in the water area; it will destroy their plants, making life very hard for the people. Most times the rain comes with thunderstorms that will damage things. The fact that everywhere will be so slippery is something I don’t like.

The dry season is not always easy for people everywhere. It is dry; people find it hard to get water, especially people living in the northern area. This season doesn’t favor them at all; the dry season is always the worse weather for them. The sun is so much on them because they always suffer a lack of water. During the dry season we always experience fire outbreaks due to the fact that the land is dry; the chances of having a fire outbreak are very high. During this period, everywhere is dry; both the animals, humans, and the ecosystem feel the dryness. The dry season is not my best season because the weather is very cold and everywhere is dry. This season comes with a lot of airborne diseases, and the weather is always hot for people.

The rainy season happens to be my best season. Everywhere is fertile; there is a lot of food to eat. One thing about this season is that everywhere is cool. Everything about this season makes me happy. Most times when it rains, I will play with my niece and nephew in the rain. The joy is something else. My best season will always be rainy season.
