## "Comedy Western Cinema"
As we approach the end of western genre discussions we are looking at new types of cinema. Today's discussion is around the comedy western. This is a hybrid of two different cinema styles. The first is a type of parody, in which western's identifiable conventions, settings and iconography are warped and mocked for comic purposes. The second type of film simply places comedies within western settings, without calling attention to the actual conventions.
