Ive found posting comments to be the most profitable myself, My blog posts rarely make over 10 cents. But ive had a 311$ comment on someon else's post.
To make real money upvoting you need a whole lot of steem power.

I think you should continue here. Only one week and you feel like quitting? And that after making two dollars? Come on. Continue. And create quality content. It will take time, but if people know you for your good content, who knows whether you'll earn even more than on your adsense?

Yeah its kinda rough out there right now. It seems to take a lot to get noticed.

I have not post anything yet but i am up voting new stuff. I think i up voted something yesterday, it  went form $0.02 to $500 .  OMG

I haven't had much luck myself, but people are saying that posting comments is the main way they generate their revenue.  I would stick to their advice until you become bigger in the community.

Someone told me if you've less than $5000 to invest in site - FORGET IT!!!

One week really isn't that long of a time to try out a new blog. How long have you been blogging with adsense? Probably longer than a week. Keep at it. I've only been on for a day now and haven't made a scratch but I'm not going to let that discourage me.

Why not implement the Steem API into your blog to post your content here too without doing anything ? Then you would earn money without even coming on SteemIt. Your hourly ROI gains would then be illimited.

Stay close to what you know. Sound like kicking in an open door, but it is simple. Blog about your experiences, your profession, what you think about.

I am here for a week now as well, give or take. I have done my fair share of posting and some posts made a little money, I think the best was $1,19. Overall, I really like Steemit so far. It's like all social media, hard to make a name. But I love doing it so I am here to stay!

I keep reading words like  "earning " and getting"  Let start this all up by sharing and forgetting  the the payment process . If you stay active and insightful when participating on this newsocial media platform  Steemit, I'm sure your efforts will eventually pay off. For now let's just engage and see if Steemit can change the way content is paid.

I just made $1.70 by spending few minutes and you spent around one week to reach to $2 buddy? Keep posting useful stuff and you'll be rewarded. This steemit community is full of potentials. Think of it as your facebook dude. Do not worry about cash, it will come automatically.

I also started steem one weeksago. I think bloging itself pleasure to me even not making a big money to me yet. so i will blog for a long time then i expect something happen to me :)

I have noticed that the comments make more money so am commenting more and interacting with the post writers instead of just upvoting each time.

Well, Steemit is still new right now. And if you keep on writing quality, original content, you will soon start making money. And I think when you are up there, you will be making a LOT more than $25 a day. Trust me! Steemit is going places.

Blogging or upvoting on steemit is generally not profitable at all.  I mine Gridcoin, Solarcoin and Siacoin on my computers so no spare capacity for Steem, but give it a go and see if its worthwhile.

Have Faith with Steemit! Who knows one day you will build a good amount of rep and followers that will enable you to earn even more then your adsense!

I really don't want to mine Steem so I'm going to keep at the Steemit but yes I am not having a ton of luck as well.  I am not a brainiac and I am not a hot chick that can just say HI I'M AMANDA and get a $20,000 upvoted post. A little frustrating because I enjoy blogging but I don't think I have mad blogging skills either... I will just keep on keepin on. Good luck guys.
