FORGIVE AND MOVE ON

Most people find it difficult to forgive one another just because of spoken words. A matured mind takes no time to forgive. It might interest you to know that when we give room for sadness in our lives, then we are done for. Reason is because when we accomodate bitterness in our heart or mind, it affects us both physically, emotionally, psychologically and even spiritually.

When we forgive easily and quickly. It is not stupidity, it only shows the height of spirituality in us. It is also a display of maturity. Age is not maturity, I have seen people who are advanced in age, but find it challenging to forgive someone who offends them. Another things is that not forgiving others is a major factor that can restrict God's blessing from reaching us.

God's love is supreme, it get's over misunderstandings. There is no point of claiming to be Godly when you find it very hard to forgive people when they offend you. In that case, you are no different from an unbeliever. When you overlook people's offences, they too overlook yours. Bearing grudges with friends and sometimes family can lead to destruction of relationships of which both parties will surely end up regretting. Lack of forgiveness takes one no where. As you stand to gain nothing other than bitterness and depression. It also lead to one being isolated. That is not a good thing. So, the root of the matter is that if we value our relationship and hold them in high esteem, then we will now know the importance of forgiving our family or friends. Don't forget that isolating ourselves from others can affect us mentally. It is true that we have to be careful the way we socialize, but there is need for us to remember that no man is perfect and that there is this wise saying that also says 'No man is an Island'.

To be successful in life, you have to move with positive minded people. We cannot be successful all alone without the support from other people. Even when God wants to bless us, he blesses us through people. If we are offended, the best thing to do to secure our blessings from God is to forgive and move on.
