Grum's name is one of the most feared among the gladiators, his fame and popularity are known throughout the praetorian universe, in the splinter of fire is the highest ranking commander under the orders of the demon Yodin, but it was not always so ... previously Grum was only a soldier who sought the glory of the battle after losing his parents in combat, that death in his childhood marked him and since then only thought of becoming stronger to survive the cruel reality of war.

Many times he was on the brink of death but survived, sometimes helped by his companions and sometimes by his own will not to perish, the first time Yodin saw him in a fight he approached him and told him to become stronger, and to achieve this he had to become a gladiator. When he heard these words he did not hesitate for a second and asked the demon how he could do that, who upon hearing him smiled and guided him to the great arena.

Once there Grum observed a world he did not know, he had no idea that in Pretoria there was such a bloody place, but having stepped on those domains he realized that he could never return, only two things awaited those who went to the coliseum, death or glory, there were no other options.

Being recommended by Yodin he was assisted by gladiators who trained him arduously, Grum had never been so demanding but he knew he could not give up, every time he fainted he remembered the death of his parents and that gave him the strength to continue, in his first battle he had to face a two-headed wolf warrior, It was an extremely difficult combat where he was at a great disadvantage because of the speed of his rival, however at the end of it he managed to strike a blow with his sword removing both heads of his enemy with a single blow, a fact that impressed everyone who saw it, but in turn caused in him a feeling he had never felt before.

The thirst for blood ran through his body and from that moment he acquired the ability to become stronger as he killed his enemies, that fact was the undoubted proof that he had been chosen to become a gladiator.

From that moment on his life changed, he disappeared from the gladiator arena and began to be seen with a beast from the dungeon of death, he is definitely a powerful warrior, Xulax started a hunt against many gladiators and warriors, I did not know if he did it on his own or under the orders of Lord of Darkness, the truth is that many gladiators were killed by him and also some apprentices.

One night in the field I felt the presence of someone hovering around me, I did not know it was Xulax but thanks to the hard training and experience I got in the arena I could evade his first attack with the spear, when I looked at him face to face I noticed a dark glow inside him, it was that power of the dungeon, also the beast he was riding was something from another world, what I did find strange was that he was accompanied by two warriors who were not gladiators, so I assume that Lord of Darkness had to do in this attack against me.

In spite of that they did not participate in the battle, it was a fight between gladiators, and I must say that I enjoyed it enormously, Xulax and his beast are extremely powerful, they made me retreat on several occasions, although I must say that this is normal, those of us who are gladiators are really strong and any mistake can cost us our lives. The fight was fast, his spear was one of the best I have seen and the power of his beast was overwhelming, fortunately my sword cut everything and not even Xulax's armor could resist, after defeating him I finished with the other two warriors but he appeared before me again.

El nombre de Grum es uno de los más temidos entre los gladiadores, su fama y popularidad se conocen en todo el universo pretoriano, en la astilla de fuego es el comandante de más alto rango bajo las órdenes del demonio Yodin, pero no siempre fue asi…anteriormente Grum solo era un soldado que busco la gloria de la batalla luego de perder a sus padres en un combate, esa muerte en su infancia lo marco y desde entonces solo pensaba en hacerse más fuerte para sobrevivir a la cruel realidad de la guerra.

Muchas veces estuvo al borde de la muerte pero sobrevivió, en algunas ocasiones ayudado por sus compañeros y en otras por su misma voluntad de no perecer, la primera vez que Yodin lo vio en un combate se le acercó y le dijo que se hiciera más fuerte, y para lograrlo debía convertirse en un gladiador. Al oír estas palabras no lo dudó ni un segundo y pregunto al demonio como podía hacer eso, el cual al escucharlo sonrió y lo guio hacia la gran arena.

Una vez allí Grum observo un mundo que no conocía, no tenía ni la menor idea que en Pretoria existiera un lugar tan sangriento, pero al haber pisado esos dominios se dio cuenta que jamás podría regresar, solo dos cosas le esperaban a quienes iban al coliseo, la muerte o la gloria, no habían más opciones.

Al ser recomendado por Yodin fue asistido por unos gladiadores que lo entrenaron arduamente, Grum jamás había sido tan exigido pero sabía que no podía desistir, cada vez que desmayaba recordaba la muerte de sus padres y eso le daba las fuerzas para continuar, en su primera batalla le toco enfrentarse a un guerrero lobo de dos cabezas, fue un combate sumamente difícil donde estaba en mucha desventaja a causa de la velocidad de su rival, sin embargo al final del mismo logro asestar un golpe con su espada quitándole las dos cabezas a su enemigo de un solo golpe, un hecho que impresiono a todos los que lo veían, pero a su vez causo en él una sensación que jamás había sentido.

La sed de sangre corría por su cuerpo y a partir de ese momento adquirió la habilidad de volverse más fuerte a medida que acababa con sus enemigos, ese hecho era la prueba indubitable que había sido elegido para convertirse en gladiador.

¿Seguirás contando esa historia Talia? Pregunto Grum a su amiga que trataba de animar a los nuevos reclutas.

Cada vez que sea necesario lo hare, respondió

Grum sonrió y miro a los reclutas que estaban con asombro al verlo, luego les dijo: mejor les contare acerca de mi batalla contra el campeón oscuro Xulax Nightwind. Talia se sentó y busco unas palomitas de maíz para escuchar la historia de Grum, aunque ella se la sabia completamente, pero no podía evitar disfrutar dicho acontecimiento.

¿Quién es Xulax Nightwind? Es un campeón legendario que sirve a Lord of Darkness en el reino de la muerte, Xulax al igual que yo entreno desde temprana edad en la arena de los gladiadores, pero Xulax obtuvo un poder singular, uno que no he podido descifrar todavía, Xulax puede volver a la vida luego de morir o por lo menos eso es lo que parece, este poder tengo entendido lo adquirió en la mazmorra de la muerte, vencer allí era poco posible pero él lo hizo y eso lo erigió como un campeón legendario.

A partir de ese momento su vida cambio, desapareció de la arena de gladiadores y se le comenzó a ver con una bestia de la mazmorra de la muerte, definitivamente es un guerrero poderoso, Xulax inicio una cacería en contra de muchos gladiadores y guerreros, no supe si lo hacía por su cuenta o bajo las ordenes de Lord of Darkness, lo cierto es que muchos gladiadores fueron asesinados por él y también algunos aprendices.

Una noche en el campo sentí la presencia de alguien rondándome, no sabía que era Xulax pero gracias al duro entrenamiento y la experiencia que obtuve en la arena pude evadir su primer ataque con la lanza, cuando lo mire cara a cara note un resplandor oscuro en su interior, era ese poder de la mazmorra, además la bestia que montaba era algo de otro mundo, lo que si me pareció extraño era que estaba acompañado de dos guerreros que no eran gladiadores, por eso asumo que Lord of Darkness tuvo que ver en este ataque contra mí.

A pesar de eso no participaron en la batalla, fue un combate entre gladiadores, y debo decir que lo disfrute enormemente, Xulax y su bestia son extremadamente poderosos, me hicieron retroceder en varias ocasiones, aunque debo decir que esto es normal, los que somos gladiadores somos realmente fuertes y cualquier error nos puede costar la vida. El combate fue rápido, su lanza de las mejores que he visto y el poder de su bestia abrumadora, afortunadamente mi espada lo corta todo y ni siquiera la armadura de Xulax pudo resistir, luego de derrotarlo acabe con los otros dos guerreros pero el nuevamente apareció ante mí.

En ese momento comprendí algo de su poder, sin embargo no volvió a luchar, en lugar de eso monto su bestia y se marchó, desde ese entonces no lo he visto más pero aún estoy alerta.

Luego de contarles su historia los reclutas estuvieron más animados para el entrenamiento, Grum se fue y Talia se quedó entrenándolos.

Las historias de Grum muestran lo poderoso y temido que es este guerrero, Talia siempre lo apoya en las batallas pero también disfruta el contar sus proezas.
