Martha is a collector of antiques, she has invested much of her life in the search for treasures and things that satisfy her desires, which has allowed her to feel like a fulfilled woman. Apart from that Martha has an unparalleled beauty, she has been endowed with more than just a good face and money, she has a captivating personality, with it she has made many risk their lives in architectural works just to please her.

She often went on trips and visited archeological museums and occult sites, she did it not because she was interested but because of the history behind each object, for her that was the best thing, she did not collect just for the sake of it but she was enriched by the background behind each piece, it was like buying history and becoming its owner.

Martha's intelligence helped her in business, so much so that she was excellent at getting discounts and having objects that were not even for sale, her name was so well known that people invented any story to sell her relics, but Martha was not incautious, she knew what was really worthwhile.

In one of her trips to Egypt she bought a mirror belonging to a sorcerer, from the moment she saw it in the stall she quickly felt a connection, the detail was that the mirror did not reflect any person, however when Martha approached it for the first time a silhouette was formed. The wizard at that time surprised and fearful told her: "Be careful, this mirror has a curse", but Martha took it and lifted it and saw nothing, the silhouette disappeared and the mirror stopped reflecting.

Being in her house in London Martha placed the mirror in her room, she could not stop looking at it because she wanted the mirror to reflect her, but nothing happened, tired of trying she decided to take it to the main hall because it was a very striking object.

Time passed and Martha continued in her activities, traveling and collecting, every time she returned to London she observed the mirror but as nothing happened she decided to stop giving it importance and deep inside she thought that the silhouette was just a trick of the seller to make her buy it, so she ended up leaving it in her basement.

One rainy night she was sitting on her bed and felt that a light hit her face, when she looked she noticed that the mirror was in a corner of her bedroom, surprised she took it and took it to the bed, in her mind she wandered if it was the maid or someone else who put it there, but she stopped thinking about the matter and before turning it over to try to see herself in it she noticed a small inscription on the edges, the language was strange and she did not understand it. Looking through her relics she found a book of ancient writings and from the shape of the inscription she discovered that it was Sumerian, encouraged by the finding she turned on her computer to translate what it said on the mirror.

Once there she used a special program of ancient texts and was able to decipher the meaning of the inscription: "You must really want it", when she read that she did not understand but after meditating she assumed that it was the reflection, so she went to her room and took it to see herself, but before doing so she thought that if she was going to want it she should be prepared for the occasion, so she took a shower and put on a nice outfit before trying to see herself in the mirror.

The adrenaline that ran through her body resembled a love date, Martha was too nervous, she didn't want to fail after knowing what the mirror said, so she placed the mirror on the wall and before looking at it she closed her eyes, counted down in her heart and opened her beautiful eyes without blinking, sadly nothing happened. A big sigh of disappointment came over her, so she approached the mirror and put her hand on it, when she did it a light started to shine and instantly the reflection started to form from her hand, Martha was excited and stunned, she waited in front of the mirror until her reflection was completely seen and when she went to remove her hand to see herself better she couldn't do it, her hand was stuck to the mirror. In such a situation her heart accelerated but she managed to calm down, once she did she heard a voice that said from inside the mirror: "Hello Martha".

Fearful she screamed in desperation but the voice told her not to be afraid, Martha was more afraid when she heard that, her own reflection was talking to her, it seemed to have life, then in the middle of her desperation she tried to hit the glass with her free hand, breaking it was the only option she thought, then when she did her arm was slowly absorbed by the glass, as nothing happened her screams began to adorn the rainy night, sadly for her no one helped her.

When she opened her eyes she was no longer clinging to the mirror, she could move quietly, so she tried to take the mirror and destroy it, to her surprise her face was in front of the mirror, when she approached it she said: "Thank you for freeing me dear Martha", when she heard these words she realized what had happened, now she was inside the mirror and someone else was inhabiting her body in the outside world. Before such a reality she began to scream but the usurper took the mirror and kept it in the basement, after that she looked at Martha and said: "I lasted a lifetime there until you came, now I will be Martha and you will be in my place for eternity", Martha cried and cried even more when she saw her own body close the basement door and laugh macabrely never to return.

Martha es una coleccionista de antigüedades, ha invertido gran parte de su vida en la búsqueda de tesoros y cosas que satisfagan sus anhelos, lo cual le ha permitido sentirse como una mujer realizada. Aparte de eso Martha cuenta con una belleza sin igual, ha sido dotada con algo más que un buen rostro y dinero, tiene una personalidad cautivadora, con ella ha hecho que muchos arriesguen su vida en los trabajos de arquitectura solo por complacerla.

A menudo se iba de viaje y visitaba museos arqueológicos y sitios de ocultismo, lo hacía no porque le interesara sino por la historia que había detrás de cada objeto, para ella eso era lo mejor, no coleccionaba solo por hacerlo sino que se enriquecía con el trasfondo que había detrás de cada pieza, era como comprar la historia y hacerse su poseedora.

La inteligencia de Martha le ayudaba en los negocios, tanto así que era excelente para conseguir rebajas y tener objetos que incluso no estaban a la venta, su nombre fue tan conocido que las personas inventaban cualquier cuento con tal de venderle sus reliquias, pero Martha no era incauta, sabía lo que realmente valía la pena.

En unos de sus viajes a Egipto compro un espejo perteneciente a un hechicero, desde que lo vio en el puesto rápidamente sintió una conexión, el detalle era que el espejo no reflejaba a ninguna persona, sin embargo cuando Martha se acercó por primera vez a él una silueta se formó. El hechicero en aquel entonces sorprendido y temeroso le dijo: “Tenga cuidado, este espejo tiene una maldición”, pero Martha tomándolo y levantándolo no vio nada, la silueta desapareció y el espejo dejo de reflejar.

Estando en su casa de Londres Martha ubico el espejo en su habitación, no podía dejar de mirarlo pues quería que el espejo la reflejara, pero nada sucedía, cansada de intentarlo decidió llevarlo al salón principal ya que a pesar de todo era un objeto muy llamativo.

Paso el tiempo y Martha siguió en sus actividades, viajando y coleccionando, cada vez que retornaba a Londres observaba el espejo pero como nada sucedía decidió dejar de darle importancia y muy dentro de sí pensó que aquella silueta fue solo un truco del vendedor para que ella lo comprara, por lo que termino dejándolo en su sótano.

Una noche lluviosa estaba sentada en su cama y sintió que una luz golpeaba su rostro, cuando miro noto que el espejo estaba en un rincón de su recamara, sorprendida lo tomo y lo llevo a la cama, en su mente divagaba si fue la criada o alguien más quien lo subió allí, pero dejo de pensar en el asunto y antes voltearlo para tratar de verse en el noto una pequeña inscripción en los bordes, la lengua era extraña y no la comprendía. Buscando en sus reliquias encontró un libro de escrituras antiguas y por la forma de la inscripción descubrió que era sumeria, animada por el hallazgo encendió su computadora para traducir lo que en el espejo decía.

Una vez allí utilizo un programa especial de textos antiguos y pudo descifrar el significado de la inscripción: “Debes desearlo en realidad”, cuando leyó eso no comprendió pero luego de meditar asumió que se trataba del reflejo, así que fue a su cuarto y lo tomo para verse, pero antes de hacerlo pensó que si lo iba a desear debería estar preparada para la ocasión, así que se dio una ducha y se colocó un lindo atuendo antes de intentar verse en el espejo.

La adrenalina que corría por su cuerpo se asemejaba a una cita amorosa, Martha estaba demasiado nerviosa, no quería fallar luego de saber lo que el espejo decía, por lo que coloco el espejo en la pared y antes de míralo cerro sus ojos, hizo una cuenta regresiva en su corazón y abrió sus bellos ojos sin parpadear, tristemente nada sucedió. Un gran suspiro de decepción le embargo, así que se acercó al espejo y puso su mano sobre él, cuando lo hizo una luz comenzó a brillar e instantáneamente el reflejo comenzó a formarse desde su mano, Martha estaba emocionada y atónita, espero frente al espejo hasta que su reflejo se vio completamente y cuando fue a quitar su mano para verse mejor no pudo hacerlo, su mano estaba pegada al espejo. Ante tal situación su corazón se aceleró pero logro calmarse, una vez lo hizo oyó una voz que le decía desde adentro del espejo: "Hola Martha"

Temerosa grito de desesperación pero la voz le decía que no tuviera temor, Martha tuvo más temor al oír eso, su propio reflejo le estaba hablando, parecía tener vida, entonces en medio de su desesperación intento golpear el vidrio con su mano libre, romperlo era la única opción pensó, entonces cuando lo hizo su brazo fue absorbido lentamente por el cristal, como nada sucedió sus gritos comenzaron a adornar la noche lluviosa, tristemente para ella nadie la auxilió.

Cuando abrió sus ojos ya no estaba aferrada al espejo, podía moverse tranquilamente, así que intento tomar el espejo y destruirlo, para su sorpresa su rostro estaba frente al espejo, cuando se acercó este le dijo: "Gracias por liberarme querida Martha", al escuchar estas palabras se dio cuenta de lo que había sucedido, ahora ella estaba dentro del espejo y alguien más habitaba su cuerpo en el mundo exterior. Ante tal realidad comenzó a gritar pero la usurpadora tomo el espejo y lo guardo en el sótano, después de eso miro a Martha y le dijo: "Dure toda una vida allí hasta que llegaste tú, ahora seré Martha y tu estarás en mi lugar por toda la eternidad", Martha lloraba y lo hizo aún más cuando vio su propio cuerpo cerrar la puerta del sótano y a reírse macabramente para nunca regresar.
