In the main park of my city is the **large soundboard**, a stage reserved exclusively for bands, groups of classical musicians, who generally belong to high-profile local musical associations. To be clear, rock bands or the like cannot perform, but only musicians playing classical music.

It is a tradition that has been handed down for decades now, the large soundboard was created during the Second World War, under the influence of Mussolini, to encourage children to play classical music and create a place for cultural aggregation. To date, the structure is very little used, or times have changed a lot. Until a couple of decades ago, every Sunday morning, groups of musicians took turns on stage to preserve the tradition, now also lost.

I'm sorry to see the large disused soundboard today, it could be used for other events, even if not just purely musical, perhaps for concerts by local bands of different genres. It would be a great opportunity to get together and socially interact.

To date, the stage is in fact occupied only on rare occasions such as New Year's Eve for a mini but pleasant concert by the boys, or on the occasion of events organized during the spring and summer seasons.

Nel parco principale della mia città si trova la grande cassa armonica, un palco riservato esclusivamente alle bande, gruppi di musicisti classici, che generalmente appartengono ad associazione musicali locali di alto profilo. Per intenderci, non possono esibirsi rock band o simili, ma solo musicisti che suonano musica classica.

È una tradizione che oramai si tramanda da decenni, la grande cassa armonica fu creata durante la seconda guerra mondiale, sotto l'influenza di Mussolini, per incentivare i ragazzi alla musica classica e creare un luogo di aggregazione culturale. Ad oggi la struttura è molto poco utilizzata, o tempi sono molto cambiati. Fino ad un paio di decenni fa, ogni domenica mattina, gruppi di musicisti si alternavano sul palco per conservare la tradizione, ormai persa anch'essa. 

Mi dispiace vedere oggi la grande cassa armonica in disuso, potrebbe essere utilizzata per altri eventi, anche non solo prettamente musicali, magari per concerti delle band locali di genere differente. Sarebbe una grande bella occa di aggregazione e d'interazione sociale. 

Ad oggi, il palco in effetti è occupato solo in rare occasioni come il capodanno per un mini ma piacevole concerto dei ragazzi, o in occasione di manifestazioni organizzate durante la stagione primaverile ed estiva.
