The movie Coming in America is a very entertaining 80's comedy that sees one of the most important actors of American comedy, Eddy Murphy, play. It is also a romantic film and tells the evolution of the love story between an African prince who moved to America in disguise, and a simple American employee.

At the age of his 21st birthday, Prince Akeem, as is his family's tradition, must marry a princess, rigorously chosen by his father. The prince, not content with the king's decision, decides to take time and together with his friend and faithful servant Semmi, they leave for America to try to live like normal people.

Akeem decides to live in a public house and finds work at a fast food restaurant as a cleaner along with his friend Semmi. Akeem falls in love with his owner's daughter, Lisa, but unfortunately is engaged to the son of a wealthy entrepreneur. With time, the prince captures his attention, despite Lisa's father, and its owner, being deeply opposed, believing that marrying a rich man can allow his daughter to live in a peaceful way.

Semmi warns the king about the conditions in which his son Akeem is living. So the king arrives in America with the intention of bringing his son home, ignoring the feelings he has towards Lisa, who is furious with Akeem for having lied to her about his origins. Akeem returns home and prepares for the big day of his marriage but is amazed when he finds out that the bride is Lisa.

I really liked the film because it makes me laugh a lot and every time I see it, time passes quickly. It is a film associated with Christmas as part of the film takes place in winter and then when I was a child on TV they always broadcast it in December. Eddy Murphy's laugh is really contagious and I can't help myself when I see him laughing.

It is a film that I recommend to see right now, even with the family, and I am convinced that you will have long laughs!

Il film Principe cerca Moglie è una commedia anni '80 molto divertente che vede recitare uno degli attori più importanti della commedia americana, Eddy Murphy. È un film anche romantico e racconta l'evoluzione della storia d'amore tra un principe africano, trasferitosi in America sotto mentite spoglie, ed una semplice impiegata americana.

Al compimento del suo 21mo compleanno d'età, il principe Akeem, come da tradizione della sua famiglia, deve sposare una principessa, scelta rigorosamente da suo padre. Il principe, non contento della decisione del re, decide di prendere tempo e in compagnia del suo amico e fedele servitore Semmi, partono in direzione America per provare a vivere come persone normali.

Akeem decide di vivere in una casa popolare e trova lavoro presso un locale fast food come addetto alle pulizie assieme al suo amico Semmi. Akeem s'innamora della figlia del suo titolare, Lisa, ma purtroppo è fidanzata con il figlio di un ricco imprenditore. Il principe riesce con il passare del tempo a catturare la sua attenzione, nonostante il padre di Lisa, nonché suo titolare, sia profondamente contrario, ritenendo che sposare un uomo ricco possa permettere a sua figlia di vivere in modo sereno.

Semmi avverte il re circa le condizioni in cui il figlio Akeem sta vivendo. Così il re giunge in America con l'intento di portare suo figlio a casa, ignorando i sentimenti che prova nei confronti di Lisa, la quale s'infuria con Akeem per averle mentito sulle sue origini. Akeem rientra in patria e si prepara al grande giorno del suo matrimonio ma rimane stupito quando scopre che la sposa è proprio Lisa.

Il film mi è davvero piaciuto perché mi fa molto ridere ed ogni volta che lo vedo il tempo trascorre velocemente. È un film associato al Natale dato che parte del film si svolge nel periodo invernale e poi quando ero piccolo in TV lo trasmettevano sempre a Dicembre. La risata di Eddy Murphy è davvero contagiosa e non riesco a trattenermi quando lo vedo ridere. 

È un film che consiglio di vedere proprio in questo periodo, anche con la famiglia, e sono convinto che vi farete lunghe risate!
