Vincenzo has no practical knowledge of cryptocurrencies but he has shown himself willing to accept a payment for the coffee. I downloaded the Bitcoin.com wallet to his smartphone and in a few seconds, by reading his QR Code, I sent him $ 1 in BCH. After a few seconds the notification of receipt on his device.

Vincenzo was amazed at the speed of the transaction and above all at the very low costs. Vincenzo was really surprised in an absolutely positive way. I promised him that I would come back in these days to help him register on the platform and help him with the first steps.

Non è solo necessario leggere articoli crypto o guardare video ai telegiornali, anche noi dobbiamo fare la nostra piccola parte e parlare ad amici e conoscenti di cosa siano le crypto e perché sono il futuro. Come ogni domenica mattina, sono andato a bere il mio caffè dal mio amico Vincenzo, un giovane imprenditore ormai di 40 anni, che ha iniziato a lavorare sin da ragazzino come cameriere ed da cinque anni si è aperto il proprio bar.

Ho iniziato a parlare di Bitcoin con Vincenzo qualche mese fa, quando ha iniziato il rally rialzista che tutt'ora non accenna a fermarsi. Vincenzo non ha alcuna conoscenza pratica delle crypto ma si è dimostrato volenteroso ad accettare un pagamento del caffè. Gli ho scaricato il wallet Bitcoin.com sul suo smartphone e in poche secondi, attraverso la lettura del suo Code QR, gli ho inviato 1$ in BCH. Dopo pochi secondi la notifica della ricezione sul suo dispositivo.

Vincenzo è rimasto stupito della velocità della transazione e soprattutto dei bassissimi costi. Mi ha spiegato infatti che quando i clienti pagano con carte elettroniche, la sua banca gli trattiene commissioni molto più elevate, anche se il cliente paga solo un caffè. Inoltre ci sono i costi di noleggio del dispositivo per i pagamenti, oltre a tante altri accorgimenti fiscali. 

Gli ho dimostrato che in pochi secondi posso inviargli qualsiasi cifra in pochi secondi e per lui senza alcun costo. Inoltre ho aggiunto che in questo caso il denaro del caffè l'ho guadagnato postando contenuti o semplicemente votando i post su noise.cash, una piattaforma di messaggistica su blockchain. 

Vincenzo è rimasto davvero molto stupito in modo assolutamente positivo. Gli ho promesso che sarei ripassato in questi giorni per aiutarlo nella registrazione alla piattaforma ed aiutarlo con i primi steps.

In questo modo ho coinvolto nel mio piccolo un esercente nella praticità del mondo crypto, lasciando tutto il discorso speculativo complesso ed anche un po' deleterio. Inoltre ho promesso a Vincenzo che ogni Domenica avrei preso il caffè da lui e lo pagherò  solo in Bitcoin Cash. Lui è stato molto contento e mi ha chiesto di spigargli molte altre cose.
