Does The Size of Your SP have a DIRECT Impact on the Visibility of Your Posts?

I am sorry to ask a fairly basic question, but I was unable to find the answer myself...
 
What is clear to me is how holding significant SP directly affects curation rewards, thereby, in a broad sense, your "popularity", number of followers, etc. 

But apart from this, is there a DIRECT impact on post visibility?

A little bit if you vote yourself and usually if you have a lot of SP, that came from post and comment and not from BTC/Dollar investment, you have a lot of followers and they may see your post in the FEED button.
