To use upvote bots or not!

As I dive into the issue of using upvote bots or not? I stated that I will only use upvote bots under the most adventageouse situations.

I looked at another steem members post that was published 11 months ago. He pointed out that the value of his post went down considerably but the price of steem stayed basically flat. He was confused about the loss in value. Another member responded and said that they believe that the drop in value has something to do with the voting power dropping for the users that upvoted on the post.

Im not sure if that is correct or not but if that is the case that is another variable that I did not consider in using upvote bots. 

I see more cons than pros in posting for a regular income stream. Im not trying to discourage people from posting but Im sharing my opinion which is backed up by experience and research on the profitability of using upvote bots. 
I would like to know what are the upvote bots profit statistics, and how much they make from all of the sbd, and steem thats sent to them?

From my understanding, most upvote bots payout at a loss. 
And those that you could gain from typically cap the gain. 

You are primarily paying for promotion, exposure, and other non-payout based rewards.

Through experimentation I figured out that using upvote bots are not consistently profitable.

hi friend! i have been reeading your block and i will like to make you a question, can you check my numbers please? if i made an inversion of 1sbd to get an upvote of 3sbd lets say 50%  it will be 50% sbd and 50% sp  and -25% for curation its like 1.3, there is a good reward them 0.3 sbd and 1.3 sp , i was thinking on it like a good way to power up, am i wrong them?
