虾红素（虾青素，C40H52O4）是类胡萝卜素的一种，人体不能合成，

来源有
雨生红球藻（4豪克虾红素/每0.13公克的红球藻），
北极虾（4豪克虾红素/每1400公克的北极虾），
磷虾（4豪克虾红素/每20公克的磷虾），
鲑鱼（4豪克虾红素/每1000公克的鲑鱼），
除此之外还有蟹，牡蛎，鹤，细菌，浮游生物等等，
也具有天然虾红素。

虾红素的好处如下：
1）抗氧化能力最佳：
其效果高于维生素C，维生素E，辅酶Q10，叶黄素，β-胡萝卜素等等。
