<center>Hello everyone! I started playing Splinterlands when it began in May of 2018. There were many different ways to earn crypto playing the game. The game has evolved so much since then. There are literally over 15+ ways you can now make crypto playing Splinterlands. One of them is to create excellent Splinterlands content on the Hive blockchain and try to earn upvotes! <center>When you create your Splinterlands content, read the Splinterlands social media post down below first. They give you so many tips on how to earn an upvote. You will also want to use markdown, which they will provide you with a link to in the post. You will want to make sure you have spent some time creating your post because if you do not, you might receive a downvote which will hurt any rewards you received so far, depending on how big the downvote is. 


<center>Splinterlands is just one of the many great communities on the HIVE blockchain. So you should spend some time searching around and finding the communities you love. Then post great content, support others' work on Hive, and you may be in a great place now to earn while blogging about Splinterlands or whatever you love to do.

<center>I think it is so awesome that Splinterlands does have three different contests and challenges each week for you to enter. They did not have this back in 2018! I would create content every day, but usually, I would average about .17 or so. I would get lucky once in a while when an excellent whale would come along and give me a nice upvote! What a rush that was! 

<center> Don't get discouraged if it does not happen for you right away. Every post will not receive upvotes at first, but keep trying and again, make sure to use all the Splinterlands tools and tips provided by Splinterland in their social media contest post below.  
    
    
    
    
Back then, I would always try to create content every day and then use anything I earned to buy an Alpha pack and collect more cards! That is a big way that I managed to make my collection grow! 
    
These days, Splinterlands has a few different contests and challenges that you can join every week to try to earn! Follow them on Hive and read all the rules before participating! 
    
    
<center>Splinterlands upvotes from their Steemmonsters account. I have listed the posts and videos below for you to check out. Read them to be able to create the best possible post you can. 

    
    
<center>It requires a lot of time to create a great quality post. It needs to be a nice 2,000 words or more in length and good quality with photos and more. So you have to put some time into it. Some players like myself create videos instead, but you still need to have a nice layout, describe what you are doing in your video, etc.
    


    
    
<center>You will try to earn upvotes and get paid out in a week. Half of it goes to Curators, and the other half goes to you. You will receive half of it in HBD (Hive Back Dollar), and the other half will be Hive power. Your SPT will be in your hive-engine account.
    
<center>You can cash out your HBD and go by cards or packs if you want to. It is great to have more Hive power. In addition, you will have more RC (resource credits) and start to grow yourself a bigger upvote when you upvote others' posts. That is how I grew my Splinterlands account and how I continue to do so every day I can.<center>
    

    

If you want to create a great Splinterlands video, you can use the Splinterlands @3speak community on Hive that I started [HERE](https://3speak.tv/c/hive-13323), and if you are lucky, you will receive an upvote from Splinterlands and also from 3speak!
