**Project Zomboid** ha estado atascado en mi pc desde hace algun tiempo ahora y muy pocas veces he podido mantenerme jugandolo por mucho tiempo, ya sea porque es un juego que requiere compromiso a la hora de conocer todo lo que tiene, o que es una de las experiencias mas dificiles del momento, una partida en Project Zomboid puede convertirse en un infierno rapidamente y yo soy un poco terco para aprender todo lo que tiene en medio de menus que, en mi opinion, son muy toscos para toda la inmensidad de cosas que ofrece, pero en estas semanas hare un esfuerzo de aprender todo lo necesario para batir el juego, revisando algunos de los consejos basicos se obtiene mucho sobre como enfocar cada partida y eso es algo de lo que quisiera hablar en este post.

Para los que no hayan jugado esta juego, es algo asi como el simulador mas *realista* de lo que seria estar en el medio de un apocalipsis zombie, el juego permite un nivel de detalle tanto en la caracterizacion de nuestro personaje como en la multitud de situaciones que estan contra nosotros, creo que he contado un poco mas de una veintena de estados que puede tener nuestro personaje y que puede variar la partida o peor terminar por acabar con nosotros, es un juego que no perdona en ningun sentido y busca ser una respuesta acorde a todas las situaciones que se podrian vivir en una situacion asi, por lo que voy a enfocarme primeramente en algunos puntos vitales.

Como conseguimos cada uno de estos tres ingredientes es vital para sobrevivir lo mas posible, por supuesto esta ese gran elefante en la habitacion que son los zombis, como dije este juego no tiene piedad con matarte incluso si estas en los primeros minutos, si estas empezando lo mejor es evitar lo mas posible a los zombis mientras aprovechamos a buscar la mayor cantidad de recursos, porque en estos primeros dias solo tendremos que lidiar con los zombies como el principal problema, los servicios de agua y electricidad no se cortan hasta bien adentrada la primera semana, asi que en estos preciados momentos estaremos escabullendonos de casa en casa con cuidado tratando de encontrar ya sea vasos o algo util para almacenar el agua que aun hay en la tuberia, tambien toda la comida fresca que encontremos podremos usarla en los primeros dias para nuestra hambre y dejar los alimentos enlatados para cuando nos haga falta.
### Evitaremos los zombies en esta primera etapa
Claro esta que el mundo esta lleno de ellos pero intentaremos evitar meternos en disputas con grandes hordas de ellos hasta que encontremos armas y un buen refugio, ya una vez tengamos la comida y el agua resueltos por un par de dias saldremos a buscar herramientas para poder construir todo tipo de cosas asi como reforzar nuestros refugios y libros para ir adquiriendo experiencia para hacer mas cosas, el arbol de experiencia de nuestro personaje sube a medida que hacemos actividades relacionadas a esa habilidad asi si estamos en modo sigilo iremos aumentando poco a poco nuestra habilidad para entrar en los edificios y en estar en la calle sin atraer a ningun zombie.

# Combatir la muerte
El sistema de pelea de Project Zomboid es uno de sus puntos a tomar en cuenta si queremos pasar siquiera del dia 1, al principio nos costara bastante acabar con uno solo de ellos pero con la practica entenderemos exactamente algunos de los trucos que nos van a hacer esto mucho mas facil, al comienzo solo tendremos lo que consigamos en una de las casas alrededor pero incluso si nos topamos con un zombie por aca tenemos buenas posibilidades si sabemos lo que hacemos, revisar siempre a tu alrededor para que ninguno de esos monstruos nos agarre desprevenido por atras, no tengo que recordar que una mordida puede acabar con nuestra partida asi que no hay presion.
Un truco que aprendi al comienzo para combatir a los zombies es el de primero empujarlos y pararnos sobre ellos, de esta forma el zombie no se levantara y podremos incluso manejar una horda pequeña de combie acabandolos uno por uno, funciona tambien para ahorrarnos energias y no cansarnos cuando limpiamos las zonas cerca de nuestro refugio, enfrentarnos a hordas mas grandes siempre resultara desventajoso asi que tratemos de evitarlas pero si nos avista una de estas lo mejor es entrar en modo sigilo y salir de su alcance.

Esto es solo un par de ayudas basicas, el juego es lo suficientemente atrevido para cambiar parametros con el paso de los dias y en algun momento tendremos varios eventos que nos retaran y si somos debiles acabaran con nosotros, aun estoy empezando a sobrevivir mi primera semana asi que espero hacer de esto una serie para explicarles un poco mas el proceso que yo hago para sobrevivir lo mas posible en este juego, gracias por pasar hermano.

For those who haven't played this game, it's kind of like the most *realistic* simulator of what it would be like to be in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, the game allows for a level of detail in both characterization of our character and the multitude of situations that are against us, I think I have counted a little more than twenty states that can have our character and that can change the game or worse end up killing us, it is a game that does not forgive in any sense and seeks to be a response according to all situations that could live in a situation like this, so I will focus first on some vital points.

How we get each of these three ingredients is vital to survive as much as possible, of course there is that big elephant in the room that are the zombies, as I said this game has no mercy to kill you even if you are in the first minutes, if you are starting it is best to avoid as much as possible to the zombies while we take advantage to find as many resources, because in these early days we will only have to deal with zombies as the main problem, water and electricity services are not cut until well into the first week, so in these precious moments we will be sneaking from house to house carefully trying to find either glasses or something useful to store the water that is still in the pipe, also all the fresh food we find we can use in the first days for our hunger and leave the canned food for when we need it.
### Avoid the zombies in this first stage.
Of course the world is full of them but we will try to avoid getting into disputes with large hordes of them until we find weapons and a good shelter, and once we have food and water resolved for a couple of days we will go out to look for tools to build all kinds of things as well as strengthen our shelters and books to gain experience to do more things, The experience tree of our character goes up as we do activities related to that skill so if we are in stealth mode we will gradually increase our ability to enter buildings and be on the street without attracting any zombie.

# Fighting death
Project Zomboid's fighting system is one of its points to take into account if we want to pass even day 1, at the beginning it will cost us quite a lot to finish with just one of them but with practice we will understand exactly some of the tricks that are going to make this much easier for us, At the beginning we will only have what we get in one of the houses around but even if we run into a zombie around here we have a good chance if we know what to do, always check around you so that none of those monsters catch us unawares from behind, I don't have to remember that a bite can end our game so there is no pressure.
A trick I learned at the beginning to fight the zombies is to first push them and stand on them, this way the zombie will not get up and we can even manage a small horde of combie finishing them one by one, it also works to save energy and not get tired when we clean the areas near our shelter, facing larger hordes will always be disadvantageous so try to avoid them but if we see one of these it is best to go into stealth mode and get out of reach.

This is just a couple of basic help, the game is bold enough to change parameters as the days go by and at some point we will have several events that will challenge us and if we are weak they will finish us, I am still starting to survive my first week so I hope to make this a series to explain a little more the process that I do to survive as much as possible in this game, thanks for stopping by brother.
