When we talk about video game masterpieces, we usually point to the same old ones: gigantic studios with dozens of programmers or designers who usually make a good video game once in a while, and for a fairly high price that I personally can afford most of the time.
That's why, over the years of rediscovering video games, I've gravitated toward independent developments, which are much cheaper and, in some ways, offer higher-quality experiences. Here are some games that I consider to be masterpieces and are under $5 on Steam as part of a promotion on the platform.
Side note: I may say these games are on sale, but the truth is that without this perk, they're still pretty cheap for the experience. that they can offer, so I still recommend them for when you want to expand that library.

# Undertale
I think it's the most obvious when talking about independent developments that far surpassed the big companies. And it's that a couple of creators, I don't think there are even five, created one of the biggest video games of the decade with a free engine and a lot of passion for creating video games.
By far one of my favorite experiences, and this was also one of the first independent video games I had the audacity to download and give a try. It took me a while to get used to its mechanics, but guys, it's Gold

I haven't played it, but when I do, I'm sure I'll be bringing it around here a lot. It's without a doubt one of the best platformers and one of the most influential. I don't know why the hell I haven't played it yet, but luckily it's on sale on Steam too, so maybe now's a good time to check it out. Grab it

# Dishonored
One of my favorite video games, and I'm putting it on this list not because it's indie per se, but because it has one of the biggest discounts I've ever seen on Steam. For just $2, you can add this game to your library, and I assure you, you'll easily get at least 50 hours of gameplay with all the routes you can take.
I have to play it again, but take my word for it: this is a masterpiece, and it's not from a studio as big as you'd think, or at least not at the time. was

# Loop hero
Yeah! This game, which has been talked about endlessly here, is also on sale for less than $5, although to be honest, I think I'd recommend other games over this one due to the difficulty curve, which is sometimes quite unfair.
Even if you understand the mechanics, you're often more reliant on luck than strategy, although there is an interesting debate about whether or not you can complete this game using pure strategy and not improving everything that can be improved.

# DOOM (2016)
This is another one of those games I can put Easily on this list, although I haven't played it yet. All I know is that it's a faithful sequel to the first Dooms and is a fairly chaotic but very satisfying shooter where we kill demons like a total chad.
I found this one for just $3. I don't know if it's because of some spring promotion or if the new Doom is about to come out and that's why they wanted to lower the price as much as they could on this one, but anyway, whatever the reason, we gamers are the ones who benefit.

# Star Wars Battlefront II
This is a bonus for those who haven't played it yet, and I know it's ironic to include a video game from a major corporation on this list, but I think it's simply an experience that must be experienced, especially if you like Star Wars and especially if you like galactic shooters, because I think this is the best, and recently, its multiplayer has exploded and is quite active.

Cuando hablamos de obras maestras en el videojuego se suelen señalar a los mismos de siempre, estudios gigantescos que tienen decenas de programadores o diseñadores y que suelen hacer un videojuego bueno una vez a la cuaresma y por un precio bastante alto al que personalmente me puedo permitir la mayoría de las veces
Por eso a lo largo de mis años redescubriendo el videojuego he girado en torno a los desarrollos independientes, mucho más baratos y en cierta forma con una mayor calidad de las experiencias que pueden ofrecer, aquí les van algunos juegos que considero que son obras maestras y que están por debajo de los $5 en steam como parte de una promoción de la plataforma
Nota aparte: podré decir que estos videojuegos están en promoción pero la verdad es que igual sin este beneficio están bastante baratos para la experiencia que pueden ofrecer así que de igual forma se los recomiendo para cuando quieran agrandar esa biblioteca

Creo qué es el más obvio a la hora de hablar de desarrollos independientes que superaron por mucho a las grandes compañías Y es que un par de creadores, no creo que lleguen siquiera a cinco, crearon uno de los mayores videojuegos de la década con un motor gratis y mucha pasión para crear videojuegos
De lejos de mis experiencias favoritas además de que también este fue uno de los primeros videojuegos independientes que tuve la osadía de descargarme y darle una oportunidad, tardé un poco en acostumbrarme a sus mecánicas pero si muchachos, es oro

No me lo he jugado pero cuando lo haga estoy seguro de que lo voy a estar a estar trayendo de sobra por estos lares, es sin lugar a duda uno de los mejores videojuegos de plataformas y uno de los más influyentes, no sé por qué carajos no lo he jugado todavía pero por suerte está de descuento en steam también así que quizás sea un buen momento para agarrarlo

# Dishonored
Uno de mis videojuegos favoritos y lo pongo en esta lista no porque es independiente per se sino porque tiene uno de los mayores descuentos que he visto en steam, por solo 2$ puedes agregar este juego a la librería y te aseguro que fácil tienes al menos 50 horas de juego con todas las rutas que puedes hacer
Tengo que jugarlo nuevamente pero tomen mi palabra de que este es una hora maestra tal cual y además no de un estudio tan grande como uno pensaría, o al menos en su momento no lo era

Si! Este juego que ha hablado hasta el cansancio por acá también está de descuento y está por menos de $5, aunque si le soy sincero creo que recomendaría otros juegos antes que este debido a la curva de dificultad que tiene y que a veces es bastante injusto
Aunque entiendes las mecánicas estás anclado a la suerte muchas veces más que a la estrategia aunque sí hay un debate interesante sobre si puedes o no completar este juego utilizando netamente estrategia y no mejorando todo lo que se puede mejorar

Este es otro de esos juegos que puedo poner fácilmente en esta lista aunque no lo he jugado todavía, solo sé que es una secuela fiel a los primeros dooms y es un Shooter bastante caótico pero muy satisfactorio en donde vamos acabando con demonios siendo todo un chad
Este me lo encontré por $3 apenas, no sé si es por alguna promoción de primavera o es que el nuevo doom está a punto de salir y es por eso que quisieron bajarle el precio todo lo que pudiesen a este, pero en fin cualquiera sea el motivo de los jugadores somos los que son los beneficiados

# Star Wars Battlefront II
Este es un extra para aquellos que todavía no lo han jugado y sé que es una ironía poner un videojuego de una gran corporación en esta lista pero creo que sencillamente es una experiencia que hay que vivirla sobre todo si te gusta Star wars y sobre todo si te gustan los shooters galácticos porque creo que este es el mejor y recientemente es un multijugador ha estallado y está bastante activo
Esas son todas las ofertas que tengo para ti en este momento pero abro los comentarios para que si ven algún juego bueno en descuento lo puedan poner acá abajo y acuérdense que si les gustan los juegos gratis en mi blog estoy subiendo bastante seguido todos los videojuegos que están regalando las plataformas así que nunca está de más darle un follow
