Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.

I like the magic attack the most and I know a lot of people do like it. Because they can attack the health of the opponent rather than the Armour. But if we keep the magic attack aside then we have two famous attacks which is Melee and Ranged. Melee attacks directly attack from the first position or it can attack from 2nd position if the card have Reach ability. It can also attack from any position if it has Oportunity or Sneak ability. 

Now coming to the Ranged attack, it can only attack from the first position if it has the close range ability otherwise it loses it ability to hit when comes to the first position. Now for a good attack formation you have to have the mixture of both the Melee And Ranged attack. 

Now the question is which is your favorite ones. In my case I like rhe Melee attack more than the Ranged attack. It's not that I don't keep the Ranged attack in my lineup but there are always 1 or max 2. Most of my cards are Melee or Magic and very few Ranged attack. And that's why whenever I am trying to buy a new card my first preference remained as the Melee attack only.

And that's the reason, I play with fire elemnet most of the time. All the cards I have, the best Melee attack I have is from the Fire element and thus I try yo leverage that attack and that's why 60% of my total games are using the fire element only. The best Ranged cards I have is with the Death element. And that's why whenever I play with death element, I try to include more Ranged attacks but other than that, I use Melee or Magic attack only.

So if I ask you what do you prefer more, Melee or Ranged attack in your lineup.
