Real Estate Boom Has Side Affects

In Bangalore, the real estate is increasing like anything. The prices are also increasing because the demand is increasing. And similarly the rental prices are also increasing because of the demand. Now this is the case with all the metro or even tier 2 cities in India. But some cities are increasing rapidly than the other.

Now because of this real estate boom, it has some side affects. Like if I talk about Bangalore. There are a lot of ponds were gone, because the real estate mafa taken over the pond and then developed some houses over it. Now because of this there is water problem. People have to depend on the water tanker for their water supply. Then there is pollution too.

The pollution has also increased rapidly in the last 10 years because the trees are cut, more construction is happening and other things. So a city is transforming from a cool hill station to a over crowded city with water problems. Now if I compare it with Delhi, the population is less in Bangalore and also the pollution is is less in Bangalore. But since the Bangalore is growing, it might be in some years, Bangalore will be like Delhi to some extent. And this will be the case for most of the cities.

Then there is a flood problem. When it rains heavily, some parts of Bangalore gets flooded and thus water logging problem will come. And this is the problem with Chennai too. And similarly if the city is not planned properly these things bound to happen. So what government can do is to develop the tier 2 cities better so that the load on the bigger cities will be less.
