Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.

To be honest, I am not able to play much games now a days as because I have too much in my plate. And that's why I am just playing few games every day. Hopefully once I have little bit more time, I will be able to play games regularly.

### Selecting Best Cards

Now we want to play with the best cards always so that we can win all the games but sometimes normal cards helps us to win. And that's sometimes is all about luck. We try to select the best cards among the cards which you have. Now if I talk about my cards, I do have some good cards and some average cards. Now while playing, the first thing I do is to select the best and try to win the game. Sometime because of the Mana restrictions and other things we cannot select all the best cards and thus selecting the normal cards does the job for us.

The problem is we have 100s of cards and we cannot play with all the cards. Some cards might be good and some are average, but in the lineup we have to select the cards which are best for that game itself. Now when we play a game we will be selecting some cards and those cards are actually known to us. And that's why we don't want to select any other cards, but what I have seen is that we have to decide on the fly which cards to select and which not.

Mainly we tend to play with those cards which we have already played but there are some cards which actually can a trump card. This is because sometimes luck also plays when deciding who will win or not and thus these cards even if it is not the best card can help you to win the games.

While playing the game, sometimes we are left with one or two slot and at that time selecting any other card out of so many cards is actually tough. Though I try to filter while selecting but I had to pick based on what is available with me and sometimes these cards which I have selected randomly helps me to win the game. Because that card is actually the difference between the winning and losing.

This is the way we can select the card which can be used for playing. As I already said we have 100s of cards and we might not know the ability of all the cards, so sometimes it's better to use little filters to find out some of the great cards to be played in the current match.
