Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.

So I was playing a game and got a low mana game, only 13 mana to be exact and along with that the modifier was that there is a born again option. This option means that if the card dies it cab born again with 1 health and 100% Armour. So that means if a card has 5 Health and 5 Armour, after it dies it comes back 1 health and 5 Armour. So as a player you would think that getting a card with more Armour does makes sense. But I know that 90% of the time people plays this game with the magic attack because then the Armour is of no use.

Though there are some cards in which magic attacks the Armour, but again since it's a low mana game we cannot have those cards in our lineup. Now I was sure that the opponent would be using the magic attack, and I should have cards which can actually hit more rather than just using the magic attack.

That's why I have used the Fire Element and used 2 types of cards. One which hit directly and other with ability to hit the last card. And it helped me because then there was actually a two way attack. At the last I won but still it was not the great card selection.

So now coming back to the point when you have low mana game getting the monster which can actually work well is an art. This game could have gone in any direction, though I won but still we should know when to use which card to actually win as much as possible. And that's why I said that low mana game actually tests your card selection ability. When you have more mana you can actually select your best cards but when you have less and when you don't have low mana good cards then your card picking ability comes into picture.
