UPI using Credit Card

Till now we have used the UPI to pay anywhere any amount using our bank account. This was a revolution in India where in Covid times we do not have to get the cash and pay the amount using the UPI and till now also we are using it. This means the UPI payment has not gone down and it is going up itself. For any payment from Rs 1 to Rs 1 Lakh any day we are using the UPI payment. And believe me, it has revolutionized how we make payments and receive payments. Even the person selling veggies on the footpath can get money in his bank account using the UPI.

The thing with UPI is that you have to have your money in your account to pay. But recently new development has come where people can use Credit cards for paying using the UPI. I think this is the best thing have happened. It should be noted that not every Credit Card has this feature though.

This is good why because whenever you do not have any money in your account but still want to pay using the UPI then you can use it. For example, on the IRCTC website for train booking the best way is to pay by UPI, and any other mode of payment is a little costly. So through UPI you can pay and use Credit Card at the backend so that you do not have to pay much also.

From 14th February TATA Neu range of Rupay Credit Cards from HDFC Bank is one such Credit Card from where you can pay using the Credit Card on UPI. I do not have the card still but thinking of applying for one to get to know how it works and what will be the benefit as such. The good thing is that you do not have to carry a credit card now for the payments as everyone has the UPI and also you can pay those vendors who do not accept Credit Cards. So it's a win-win situation for everyone.
