"If EVERYTHING came from NOTHING, then why do we have 2 Sexes?"

Hello everyone, I am the Trustworthy Servant, and here we are going to look at evolution.

In this post, we are going to look at the "Big Bang".

So, lets just jump right into it!

Evolution shows us that, from "nothing" billions of years ago, a big bang caused everything to come into being. If this is the case, then why male and female?
Many scientists believe that from this "bang" everything that we have today evolved from something else...but just one question. IF everything came into existence, through a single event, than what would be the point of 2 sexes?

First, I think of a storm. A hurricane does not start as a hurricane, it starts as a depression. This then turns into a storm, then a tropical storm, then a hurricane. But this process ONLY happens if the conditions are right.
It is a process that takes time. But the one thing that keeps it moving from one stage to another, is that it is being "fed".

If it stops being fed by these "right" conditions, then it will die out. But if the fuel needed is present, then a small low pressure system could easily tuen into a major hurricane, the likes of Andrew, and Sandy, and many other pacific cyclones.
Let's place this into the big bang. It produced matter that expanded, and kept expanding. But where was the fuel to keep it going? For things to multiply, fuel needs to be introduced.

This means that something was fueling it all the way until this very minute. Was the sun what fueled it after? Since scientists believe that the sun was PART of the bang, it is simply a product as well that too would soon die out if it didn't receive fuel.
So what does this have to do with two sexes?

For evolution to produce two sexes, we must theorise a few things.

What would be the purpose?

Let us assume that after the bang, something continued to fuel it. Were the two sexes a by-product of the "bang"? Was there a consciousness within evolution that decided two sexes would be a great idea to continue? Why not "unisex"? Wouldn't that be more convenient, and practical?
And if a unisex something or other was there, why split? Was it for protection purposes? And HOW would it be able to split? And if it did split, wouldn't it die because there would be nothing of the opposite to reproduce with?

If evolution was fueled, then these questions would be null and void. But if it was not fueled, then the 2 sexes would be needed. Everything needs fuel or it dies out. Was there enough fuel in the bang to just continue going?

Not long ago, I read a thread about how the sexes were made. Some if it was interesting, and very thought provoking. After a few back and forth posts between two people, someone brought up, "...if the change is advantageous, it will be selected for..." Ok, so I read that and thought to myself, how in the world would something know if it is good or bad. Let's say there were a bazillion organisms. If one of those decided to split, or "share" its DNA with another, then where would the other come from? Why would it "share" in the first place? What is the advantage to try something that might kill you?

"...sharing DNA gives a better chance for the next generation to be better suited for the environment..." This makes no sense. Either the DNA swap takes a long time, or the need for a swap takes a long time. Either way, this is not critical thinking. First, we see that if evolution is over billions of years, then the environment would be hospitable for hundreds of thousands of years, if not millions. That is somewhat one of the dumbest answers I have seen from a "scientist".

What would cause the change? How long would it take to make the CORRECT selection? Isn't evolution about competition? Then how would one gamete know which of the other gametes are hospitable, and compatible?
Would they simply "throw" their DNA around hoping to make a connection? These are serious questions that need to be asked and answered. If there is to be a serious debate when it comes to Creation VS Evolution, then those of us who want to know the truth should really press the questions that get minds thinking.

I hope that you enjoyed the post, and I also hope that it got you thinking like the debate got me to ask these questions. Thank you all and have a great day!

:D

@rebeccamorgan ·
You brought up some good points. I've heard a good amount on this debate and have some strong opinions. But I've never heard anyone bring up the two sexes. Thanks for giving me something for my mind to "chew" on.
