Another little Gem
OK Humans, so I have another one for all of you. This time it is not in the city I live in but instead approximately 45 minutes from it. Depending on how you drive to get there.

The Black Fox Eatery.

So for all you Finer foodies out there, there is a place in South Africa, in the North West, called Hartebeespoort Dam. I go there occasionally as it is a nice outing, and not too far off the beaten path. Just like Pretoria it also has a few Gems but I would like to tell you about this place today.

The Black Fox, owned by Stephan and Orpa, is situated close to the cablecar in Harties at a venue called Villa Paridiso, which is more of a function venue for weddings and such but upstairs with an amazing view, is The Black Fox.

The venue also has accommodation should you wish to make a  weekend of it and explore the surrounding area.

Here is a picture I took from the balcony last time I was there, with a massive Storm hitting Johannesburg and Pretoria that I luckily missed. Please note I used no filter for the photo.

The couple make some of the most delicious food and I suspect that Stephan might be a little obsessed with food to say the least. Just the way he talks about the meals he makes to the presentation of the food itself.

I could post pictures of the food all day but there is another facet to the restaurant. Gin!

The have a vast selection of Gin, not really my style, but for the Gin lovers its a must. I don't know if they still sell it but at a stage they had a gin kit that you could buy and then take home to make your very own Craft Gin.

So in a nutshell, if you can then do it. The food, venue and everything else is great. The owners are great Humans as well <3 

Also,  remember that you can sleep over should you over indulge in the gin, whiskey or beer if need be.

Great Food, beautiful view, awesome people!!! I have a great time there every time I go past there! As a Gin lover I have tried a couple of Stephan's famous Gin Cocktails which is divine!! Bought one of those Love Gin Kit's myself and made a batch of the smoothest Cinnamon Gin! Wow! It came out much better than I expected!
