what will speak for you in the day when you cannot speak for yourself? what will help save your life in times of trouble when all hope is gone? What will make God hear your cry in the day when you need him most?

These are important questions you need to ponder over and find out if you have the right answers. There could be times in life when the only that will speak for us is the things we have done for God. 

There is a story in Luke 7  about a Roman centurion whose great contribution to God helped to deliver his servant from death. The Jewish Elders who were sent to Jesus to come and save his servant spoke about the man's good deeds and his act of love for his people and God. 

The man has built a synagogue for his nation and this is what makes him worthy of God's help. It was the centurion's good deeds that spoke on his behalf and not just his title or affluence. 

And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear to him, was sick, and ready to die.  And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.  And when they came to Jesus, they besought him earnestly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:  For he loves our nation, and he has built us a synagogue.  Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not yourself: for I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof: Luke 7:2-6

If men can remember people's act of love and celebrate their life how much more God? 
God doesn't forget the good things we do for him and for our fellow men. He always rewards us for every little thing we do for him. 

A righteous person is very costly in God's sight, his children are never forgetting by God nor forsaking. This is the reason we must be very circumspect of how we live and be mindful of the things we do. 


We may die and be gone but  our service to God, our acts of love to people will be remembered and will speak for our generations yet to come.
