Perhaps you may have heard of an American band from the 80's called Nirvana...
Please note that actual Nirvana, as a verb, has nothing to do with this band.
The words Nirvana and Samsara derive from ancient Sanskrit, and can be found to be used in Buddhist India and other cultures today.
these words serve the same purpose as the words heaven and hell....to describe two opposing states of being.
# So, what IS Nirvana?

Nirvana is a state of being which is most akin to what some would call "God". It is a state of complete peace, bliss and acceptance and marks the end of personal suffering and the transcendence of Samsara.
It is a state of enlightenment that one reaches through intention and practice; through the [Atonement](https://www.circleofa.org/question/what-is-atonement/) of Samsara. Through correcting the false perception of separateness from life.
The way to correct this misperception is through self-realizing that ye are one with the most high; that ye are one with thou creator.
This realization is easy; for all that has to be done to realize this is to drop the false perception; to cut off the fetters that bind ye in darkness.
The atonement is the cutting through of Samsara (illusion, ego), and thus connecting with the source of life.
Nirvana is a heaven state which is the result of dissolving ego and becoming closer to God.
A state of Nirvana is a state of enlightenment; and as ye come into this state, so too does your frequency raise its vibration.
The best way to picture a state of Nirvana would be to picture a soul transcending their physical body and becoming pure light.
To become enlightened is to literally become light; as that which we call "light" is actually the same thing as love, and holds information.

# So, If Nirvana is a state of becoming enlightened; what is Samsara?
Samsara is the world of illusion which we have fallen into via separation from God.
It is the reason there is a need at all for the atonement.
Samsara is the world of Maya; The world of the ego.
The world of illusion.
Samsara is all things ultimately un-real.
It is identification with the physical, it is pain, fear, darkness, seperation.
An individual under the influence of Samsara will re-incarnate over and over again (not on purpose - only due to lack of knowledge) and always [believe](https://steemit.com/life/@coloured-content/why-belief-in-anything-is-a-bold-faced-lie) in the concept of death.
Samsara is the world as created by ego; the world of illusions.
It can only be escaped via release; aka atonement.
The most appropriate way to atone is through forgiveness, meditation, and intention to become closer to God.
Once we transcend Samsara we simultaneously become Nirvana; We become a state of righteousness.
