When the concept of blockchain was introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto, the world received it with awe and some elements of scepticism. The quarkchain has been built in a very simplified manner where incentives will be a common place. The framework will allow incentives to be equally distributed via hash power among the different shards. This will be important because it will prevent the occurrence of double spending attack on the network. To make this work, at least 50% of the overall hash power will be allocated to the root chain.

Centralized account management

The old blockchain will be laid to rest here as Quarkchain has been constructed in such a snazzy way that you can have all your cryptocurrency assets housed together in one single account. This will eliminate the need for 3rd party applications in storing your coins as all your cryptocurrency assets from various shards are holed up together inside a simple wallet. 

Horizontal scalability

When TPS goes on a high, it is usually as a result one super-full node handling all the transactions. On Quarkchain however, a myriad of honest nodes have been programmed to merge into a cluster. This cluster will now run and operate together as one super-full node to ease the pressure and conduct a smooth and rapid TPS.
