Hello Steemit. In a recent interview with Swedish gaming magazine [Gamereactor](https://www.gamereactor.se/), one of the Zelda developers Eiji Aonuma told Gamereactor what he sees in the Nintendo crystal-ball for the future of Zelda. The interview was conducted in Swedish so I have taken upon me to translate it for you guys as i thought the questions and answers were quite interesting for us Nintendo fans. So without futher ado, let me present the interview between Gamreactor and Eiji Aonuma.

#
How does it feel with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, four months after it was released?

---
>
*"Great. Of course. However, we have also continued to work with the expansions over these four months and it has never felt like we have stopped working. One thing, however, is certain, in recent months we have focused a lot on what the players want, analyzed all feedback and changed things that were not received very well. Having said that, we are very restrictive with fan feedback because too much of that product is quickly becoming tasteless. What I've enjoyed most since the game was released is to see players solve different issues in unexpected and unique ways, we designed the game for it to be played as we wanted but when we watched Youtube and watching players find their own solutions we were quite surprised . We did not expect what was found.*"

#
Will the game change in any way after Master Mode has been completed or may we get a different end?

---

.png)

*Revali - the Champion of the Rito tribe*

---
>
*"No, nothing changes with the ending or anything like that, the new difficulty only makes the game harder. On the other hand, the next downloadable story will tell stories about the "champions" characters from the game and explore their background deeper. What made me happy are players' reactions to the characters and many of them have dedicated fans now. We will also add a new Amiibo.*"

#
The game was developed for Wii U and you recently told me that you regretted that you could not use specific Switch features. What features would you like included in the game?

---
>
*"As a concrete example, what we call HD vibration is exclusive to Switch and that feature is revealed in-game by making it feel like you actually hold something in your hands. It makes it all the more interesting and adds a layer of realism, it would be fun to develop parts that could have really benefited from it. The real problem was not really about the lack of time but rather we did not want the Wii U version to differ too much from the Switch version. We will be able to do more of these new things with the next Zelda game.*"

---

---
#
While we're talking about the next Zelda, what is the deadline out there? Can you give us an exclusive insight?

---
>
*"No, you do not get a scoop! I'm sorry, dear friend [laughing]. We have no plans for the next Zelda, it is still far ahead.

Right now we are gathering together ideas for the next game but that's nothing I can do myself. It's a lot of work that will take a long time and we have nothing planned right now. Give us some more time ...*"

#
Will you introduce game mechanical changes for portable gaming?

---
>
*"It's difficult to transfer specific features from portable consoles. As an example, 3D is a feature that will be super difficult to transfer between hardware. All different variants of hardware are different from each other. With that said, it is certainly possible. Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask went smoothly to play on Nintendo 3DS with dual screens, where we could display the map on the lower screen, making the experience better and more accessible to everyone. Such changes may find their way to the Nintendo Switch also if we find a way to do it.*"
