If there is something that has dramatically increased over the years, I will say it is the fact that the population size have dramatically increased over the years and seems like it is not slowing down anytime soon. In fact, I have come to understand that there are a whole lot of things that determine population growth. Whenever there is an economic growth, there will be a population growth and most times when there is an increase in birth rate, it will also increase the rate of population and much more.

Over the years most especially in some countries that it looks like the population is massively increasing year by year, then it is really necessary to actually for the government to come up with incentives to have population control. The issue is that, there are even some countries that have actually started it. Examples like china who are actually working so hard to control their population rate actually. 


The reason why most of the time governments will come up with those types of incentives is nothing else but to be able to control the negative effect of overpopulation in the country. Most of the time when there is a high population growth, it actually affects so much how the governments even cater for their citizens. 


For me personally, I don't see it as anything bad when government comes up with some incentives to actually control overpopulation. Overpopulation is not something that is good because it actually causes a whole lot of crises that most of the time we fail to actually handl. There are some countries like china that have limited that every family should only have a child. And trust me, it is doing china more.

Just that when the government is actually giving these incentives, it must come with massive balance because it can also come with so many side effects if it is not watched upon. Most of the time, it can leads to reduction in birth rates than ever before. In fact this types of incentives, I will just recommend that it should be done only when the overpopulation is strictly so high and when it looks like there will not be side effects. The issue with reducing birth control is that it will affect birth rate and when birth rates are reduced drastically, it can affect economy productivity. 



At the long run, I will say it actually has pros and cons. If government is going to be coming up with policies and incentives to control population growth, it is definitely going to have side effects just that it must be controlled and managed well effectively. In fact, most of the time I have come to discover that when government is trying to control population growth, it ends up in vain at the end of the day. What should just be done is that if government will be coming up with policy to control it, then they must be able to control it well to the point whereby it will not have side effects like the ones I have discussed earlier.
