Love From A Thousand Mile
A mile so far away from the realm of two lovers. A mile that seems just like a thousand one but still so close just because of love.

Dean had to stay with his uncle after a tragedy hit the family. He had to remain in his uncle's house pending the time his parents who got involved in accidents had to recover. It was so great that they were still alive. They were on their way to pick up Dean from his uncle's place where he went for holidays. Dean had been insisting on going to his uncle's place for so long now, but his parents had not been giving him a listening ear until they had to allow the sleeping dog to lie. 

Dean was not told anything about his parents' incident until one day he overheard his uncle talking on the phone. He had his heart hanging in the air. It was shocking to him, but he had nothing to do to remain prayerful. 
> Uncle!!! What happened to my parents? Please tell me because I overheard you on the phone talking to a doctor related to my parents. 

Dean asked his uncle.

His uncle replied,
> You are right. I need to let you know everything about it. Your parents got involved in an accident which we thought they might not survive, but fortunately, they are alive. 

Dean was relieved after hearing about his parents' survival. 
Meanwhile, Katrina has been the only one consoling him. She cannot stay in her house without seeing Dean for two hours. She turned Dean's house into hers. 

After some time, the pal atmosphere becomes so filled with the great aroma of love. They both fall for each other. Although, they were still tender. It was called a tender love but yet within them, was a strong bond that can never be broken. 

Katrina was disturbing Dean's uncle to take them to see Dean's parents in the hospital where he later took them down. Katrina was yelling after seeing the conditions of Dean's parents. 

It was just six months, they recovered and came down to take Dean away. Dean promised Katrina love and told her he will surely come back for her. 
Katrina said to Dean,
> I will wait for you until you are back. Even with age, I can never deviate from your love. I shall remain the only one for you. No one would take me from you and even my parents can not stop me from keeping my dignity until you are back. 

A lump of water gathered on Katrina's face wanting to drop. Immediately Dean saw this, he used his white handkerchief to wipe the tears from her face. It turned out to be Dean's turn. He cried just like a baby, although was one. Their cry showed a signal of one losing the other. It was just as if Dean was not going to come back. 

Dean left without saying goodbye, but Katrina knew it was not his fault. She saw from a distance the way he was dragged home by his parents. 

Dean has been trying to find a way to speak to his uncle just to ask about Katrina but was not given the opportunity. They stayed without having the opportunity to relate to each other for Ten good years. Love kept them alive and strong as they both promised to stay holy until they meet again. 

After this time, Dean had now become a grown-up. He can decide what is right or wrong. 

Katrina has been in real love since the very first time she sighted Dean at a tender age and this has kept them on track... It was so close that from a mile, they got to recognize their past. Dean got to Katrina, and despite being mature, love still made them recognize each other. 

When they sighted each other, they were just short of words and knew not what to say as it's been a decade since they once saw each other. 

Dean said to Katrina,

> Look at you, you are now a big girl. I have missed you so much. I don't want to go without taking you with me. 
Who am I to hide my heart from you? I have been looking for all means to get in touch with you but was not able to. Our tender age is not gone, we have to live for each other but not from a thousand miles.

Katrina responded,
> I can't believe you are standing in front of me. It was just as if I'm seeing the past. Dean….is this you? I had so many questions to ask you, but your statement has described and explained my question. I don't need to ask anymore. I have missed you so much. I have waited for a long time and to the extent of rejecting suitors. 

Dean said politely, I understand and you just have to forgive me. I can't afford not  remain glued to you.
