Hello friends and hivians. I hope everyone is well, as for me I have been a bit busy. Today, I share some shadows and reflections I captured just from being out at different times. It gives me an opportunity to share some art from a past museum trip and some things from Las Vegas I haven't shared previously.  Las Vegas was not shy about showing some shadows and reflections. Above photo was taken on a Saturday night during a marothon going on at the strip on Las Vegas Blvd. Lots of shadows and beautiful lights illuminated the nightlife.  Here we have Bellagio Hotel & Casino which gives off a few faint reflections. This picture was taken right before the water fountain display was about to go off, which is quite the spectacle to witness.  A small canal system at the Venetian Hotel & Casino. For the right price, you can experience it in a canoe ride yourself. I like this shot because there are many shadows and reflections in this one photo.  Not just two girls walking around skimpy for no reason. Now they are not working girls but they do try to hustle you for your money. I don't know what to call them, so I will label them, "Selfie Girls." There were several of them downtown and on the strip. What I witnessed is they take tips for getting a selfie with them. No, I didn't reach in my pocket to pay to get a picture with them. Instead, I captured a free photo of them with their shadows.  With a bright sun comes many shadows. Theres plenty of palm trees around, so heres some casting shadows :) In the background is Cesar's Palace one of the more popular Hotel & Casinos in Las Vegas.  There wasn't much in this shot that didn't cast a shadow. Almost everything transportation related has its accompaning shadow. Bus transportation is pretty popular in Las Vegas. A lot of double-decker buses, the last time I visited I don't remember seeing them, ok, it's been awhile! Don't be fooled with the subject matter on the bus it is a con to see the Mob Museum, which will set you back nearly $35.  Above photo is a swimming area at a resort that my brother stayed at. Several shadows and reflections on the surface of the water. Look pretty refreshing and inviting to dip into, doesn't it? I did not bring the trunks with me on this trip. Being from the Midwest, my February skin would have gotten torched and it would not have been a good feel to bring back to the cold.  A narrow street where the shadows take a lot of area and provide a great break from the sun. In the background, you can see some older neon signs of some older known places.  Here is a photo of a sky walk near the Venetian Hotel & Casino. Pictured is one of my sisters who looks out to the street to see if she can spot our brother and his wife who would meet us here. The wall of the Sky walk is casted on the ground in the form of a shadow, while the clear glass reflects other buildings and surroundings. Im happy to be able to share them despite their not perfectly framed. They were not cropped all the way, but that's fine because now I have some photographer shadows. The first photo above shows the source of the shadows and why there are multiples of my phone and head in some of the photos. Not one, not two, not three, but as many as 4 of the same objects being casted. I guess you can call these my photographer marks, haha.   I'll wrap this post up with me fishing this past Sunday. It was cold and I fished for about 6 hours and only caught this one fish. Maybe the next time out will be more productive. Las Vegas is quite an impressive place, I would get lost several times there. All the buildings look like giantsβ city. Some nice photos of reflections and shadows! You got free photo ops of the selfie girls. They are good at making pocket money from tourists! You went fishing in cold weather! Even the fish went to shopping arcades for some warmth!

Walking the strip there are some noticeable sites, you wouldn't get lost. Now a walk downtown or off the strip very easy to get lost. The selfie girls, so pushy and would come up to anyone. Didn't matter if you were even a couple. There were even some that had whips where you could pay to get whipped. Just not my thing to get pictures with complete strangers. Going fishing tomorrow suppose to be warmer hopefully I can catch some π£
