Yes, reading is truly magnificent for every writers. It widens your knowledge about a certain topic, give you some ideas on what topic you'll prepare writing and expands your vocabulary which easily smooth out your content to connect with likeminded individuals even someone who doesn't know about your topic can easily get what you're trying to say. Good post, keep it up! ;)

I also often see people stuffing their posts with lots of photos that don't really benefit the text and just make it feel longer. Maybe some readers like that, but I just catch myself just scrolling through with not really paying attention.

I’m still new to steemit. But I found that in steemit, good writing alone is not enough. I see a lot of different strategies that people use to get more upvotes. It’s fascinating. Make blogging great again.

I like the idea of "Keep it short and simple" . Who wants to read posts like reading forever right? Maybe bookworms will do.

Nice work @corina. Post itself has a great layout -- eye appealing. That makes such a big difference. Sort of a subconscious effect.  Most people feel they are not good at writing. Because of that, they just write quickly and post. Failing to look back over their work.  (The words "edit" and "editing" are REALLY scary for many.) You made it sound less threatening by suggesting reading it aloud. Great approach!  

It's nice to find good, well-qualified writers here on Steemit.  I'm still fairly new, but love what all I'm learning here.

Well I think those are really great tips on writing on Steemit or anywhere for that matter. My big question is though, how do you get others to see it? Sometimes when I post content, it may be well written or in my case a nice painting with content to support it but, it just goes unnoticed. Not complaining here, just curious how you address that?
