Staying online in an internet-driven world has become a necessity for most individuals all over the world today. With the constant increase in the annual revenue generated by online-based businesses, it has become paramount for individuals to stay online.
with a wide range of activities ranging from connecting with friends on social media, online marketing, businesses staying up to date with the latest trends, connecting customers to service providers and product marketers, research, and the list is endless. The need to stay online becomes a necessity.
Personally, the need to stay online dates back to years ago, from going to the cyber cafe to connect with my small Java phone and then to using the Multi Links phone my dad got one time to connect to the Internet. At this time, to recharge the Internet, we had to take the phone to the Multi Links office, and the technology this phone operated by was the USB tethering. Then, sometimes later, I got an MTN modem in the year 2011, which I used to browse on our desktop computer.
Later I got an Android phone, which I started using for online activities.
My Internet journey with the way I stay online has also experienced some hurdles with the unstable nature of data rates in my country. I personally have used my phone more to stay online, although the experience of browsing with a PC is much cooler. I use my phone right now for obvious reasons of not being able to carry my PC everywhere, and secondly for the fact that when I tether using my phone, the batteries run out faster. And sometimes when I am in school, I leverage my school's WiFi network to stay online and get myself up to speed with the things going on in society and also download really large files and software sometimes needed when I run computer installations.
In the future, due to the unstable nature of how poor networks can be during the rainy season, I would like to get either a 5G network router or a Spectra Net intercom for my Internet activities.
