How "Blockchain tech." voting could prevent breach and cheat election in the Philippines.

From a traditional ballot voting to automated voting in the Philippines, it created many controversials: miscounting, fraud, vulnerable to hackers and manipulation of voting counts. There was a government database breach before the election 2016. After the election, former senator bongbong marcos complained about the alleged cheat during the election.

* **Security**- that means it is immune from hacking and you can vote without exposing your confidential information publicly with a trustless voting system. And it's verifiable through any kind of mining.

* **Tamper Proof**- with decentralized encrypted signature for voting a candidate, that means it cannot changed by any party and without worrying about fraud and multiple accounts.

* **Immutable**- No excessive votes, it can be only one vote after a voter casted the vote to a certain candidate.

* **Transparency**- by using blockchain technology it can be audited in a high degree level. Since it is decentralized the information will be stored in every voters account and can be monitored to any voters. 

* **Scalability**- By using advanced mining it can efficiently received votes in a matter of seconds.

The main advantage of blockchain technology is supposed to be that it's more secure, but new technologies are generally hard for people to trust, and this paradox can't really be avoided.

I've heard that Australia is already testing blockchain tech. for their incoming election, I just wanted to refresh it to the Filipino people, because they are quite conservative when it comes to tech. :)

It was my first time to read about this blockchain tech for election. Filipinos should be open about it. But I do not think the country is ready for it as of this time. I mean, with the automated elections alone, many are still in doubt as to its accuracy. The "null votes" should be counted as claimed by the runner in the previous VP election. 
Now as regards this new tech of blockchain, it is a welcome thought to yes, finally have a secure and transparent election. Hoping it will catch the attention of the politicians sooner rather than later. And the people be open about it.
