There is always something happening and this week it was the quite shocking news that the devs will be shutting down the <a href="https://www.wink.org/?r=TXBXVEETv2gz2p7">Wink.org</a> casino/sportsbook website on September 5th.

Something important to know and which I have stated in the past is that when it comes down to investing in these things there is a high risks as you are basically betting on unregistered securities which also because of the gambling aspect have regulatory issues while they are run centralized by a team that can screw everyone over if they want to. Wink shutting down now is one of those cases while it doesn't mean (yet) that everyone got screwed over as the price of the token is holding up and all other aspects of the ecosystem are continuing.

Out of all projects I actually had Wink as the most 'Future Proof' since it's a core part of the Tron Blockchain and it has the widest recognition with different types of products behind it and the casino site just being one of them.

Basically what they claim is that they will reallocate their focus on the GameFi stuff and the oracles and so strengthen the value of the WIN token. The way I see it though is that them shutting down the casino probably has more to do with regulatory issues combined with both the bear market and the Ponzi mining system drying up and not producing enough profit right now to continue.

The 100-day average dividends have been going down for a while now breaking the uptrend that had been going for over a year

Based on when I started cost-averaging, the price is still way up and there also was the crazy pump & dump which I used to take out more than my initial capital. Most retail investors who got in during the hype and the pump totally got wrecked though.

Right now everyone who got coins frozen (WIN / DICE / LIVE / RAKE) only has a short window to do so. The DICE and LIVE tokens will get a swap at a fixed conversion rate somewhere next month, RAKE is not totally useless.

The price right now is sitting at 120$ for 1M WIN but 27 Billion WIN got unfrozen already with a lot of that likely hitting the market providing a ton of sell pressure.

Personally, I'm done with Wink and the entire Tron ecosystem for all I know as it was the only thing keeping me there. I really enjoyed the dividends, riding it all the way up taking some profit and riding the rest down to start buying some back recently. I managed to make some good profit playing poker before the action totally dried up and took quite a bit of Sports Bets on their bookie which I will miss since they offered some nice corner prop bets that were easy to beat (+3460 TRX this season after 14 bets and 9800 TRX Staked.)

It was another good week for SBET even though they are also not seeing any growth while I assume that they see their site now as a finished product. After what happened to wink, I'm less sure that I want to take the risk of something similar happeing to SBET and nothing else aside from the dividends back up the value of that token and I'm way more invested there as I always liked the small market cap compared to the product and revenue they have.

So I by no means plan to buy more right now and might even start taking a bit risk off the table even though I really don't want to give up the dividend earnings.

The similarity between Betfury and Wink is that there is a bet-to-mine mechanic going on which at some time will dry up. I do see betfury as better overall casino/bookmaker than wink in this regard though and they also have a loyalty program with frequent promotions. As long as they can survive the bear market and stay away from regulatory issues I don't see any problems going forward even though the risk certainly is there.

The dividends pool and overall trend continues to be the same and things seems to be finding some more stability.

<b><h3><a href="SX.bet">SX.bet</a> (SX)</h3></b>

For some reason, I did not get any SX added to my balance this week and at this point I see SX again as too soon and just not good enough. They are too far away from me to actually be able to use their exchange due to lower odds compared to other places. At this point I see it rather as a failed experiment and might just drop it while keeping the tokens I have in place no longer tracking it. If anything, the treasury funds have been going up steadily.

I will look to sell my WIN when they release tomorrow. This week the combined dividends added up again to 250$ for holding 30M WIN / 7M SBET / 550k BFG / 10k TRX / 100 LIVE | 2271 RAKE / 1017 SX which combined is now worth around 38k Dollars. I am looking the diversify more looking for good gambling dapps that pay the losses or fees from the gambler to those holding a token, so if you have one on your radar make sure to let me know...
