<center><b>I have been playing <a href="https://sorare.com/r/costanzabets">Sorare.com</a> for 3 years now but things have gotten to a point where the game is no longer enjoyable. These are some things I believe could be done to make the game enjoyable again...</b></center>

<b><h3>The Fundamental Problems of Sorare</h3></b>

Basically there is x amount of money that comes into the game each year, a large part of this goes to infrastructure, licences, salaries, shareholders and the little that is left goes toward the Player Rewards. So by default there are simply not enough rewards so the majority of the players (aside from the few really lucky or skilled ones) that actually come out on top. With a model where each year, more and more player cards are printed, the bar always gets raised and most older cards become worthless while the needed scores to actually win someting have become crazy high. They also give out rewards these days in the form of 50% discounts on sales directly from sorare which constantly push the market prices down as those who want to still make some thing dump them just above half the price Sorare sells them at while there are also many cards given away as prizes still.

All this made the game come to a point where you have to enter 30+ Different lineups which isn't a fun process, the scores needed to get something decent are also unrealistically high and the average rewards along with the collection values are just in a conatnt downtrend. Since you need to submit so many lineups, it also bypasses the fun of watching the matches and certain players. The entire players speculation buy & sell market also was totally killed.

Sorare now has low rewards, crazy high requirements to win something while Collection Values are constantly going down.

All of this just completely sucked all the fun out of the game and at the current pace it is just going to get worse as a ton of new cards will be printed in the next season while competition will again get more difficult.

<b><h3>How To Make Sorare Fun again!</h3></b>

If anything, I fully understand that play2earn never really is a sustainable model for everyone to be profitable. However, this should not come at the cost of the fun and there should at least be a way to stop the bleeding. The most fun thing in Sorare has always been the Cap240, where you get a certain points to use and a certain number to score to get a fixed prize. The problem was that they always set this number too low and the reward too high before this game mode was totally scrapped.

So to make Sorare fun again, I would say that some kind of Threshold game mode should come back as players at least have a fixed goal to strive towards with the knowledge they will win something.

<b><h3>A Possible Solution?</h3></b>

1. <b>Card Collections = Entry Tickets</b>
Right now if you just hold 5 cards you are free to enter a tournament without any restrictions as long as those cards are eligible for that competition. This makes it so that players aren't really forced to have a large collection. There are also zero Burn Mechanics. What if for each lineup you need to have x amount of cards owned to enter and it goes up exponentially for each extra lineup you want to enter. This also in a way where the average score of a player over the last 15 games has an influence so you can't just use old worthless cards as the collection. 
This would give cards value as entry tickets and give a proper use case to the 'weaker players' with an lower average score who otherwise are uselless. On top of this, I would require 1 cards to be burned as an entry ticket just to have some kind of burn mechanic in the game that slowly chips away at the massive oversupply in cards.

2. <b>Progressive Threshold Competition</b>
The Threshold where you get a fixed number to reach in order to be sure of a specific prize was by far the most fun in Sorare which was taken away because it was not sustainable. What they could do is just bring that back but make it way harder and do it progressively in stages over multiple game weeks. For exampls, in week 1 you can enter a ceratain amount of lineups based on your collection, if you reach let's say 380+ points, you can choose to to take a small prize or move on to the next stage (week) which has a bigger prize and so on until you possibly reach somethig bigger. This would give a sense of certainty and a challenge while in reality it's hard to actually reach so only a minority will get the bigger rewards making them sustainable and also fun for players.

<b><h4>Conclusion</h4></b>At the current pace, <a href="https://sorare.com/r/costanzabets">Sorare</a> I would say is heading toward bankruptcy if they can get the current downtrend under control. Bringing back the fun should be the #1 priority with rewards that are done in a sustainable way. Howevern I don't see it happening and will likely start to remove sone funds from the site just to be safe in case it all does go to zero.
