<center><b>I have been enjoying <a href="https://sorare.com/r/costanzabets">Sorare.com</a> these past years mainly playing in the Rare competitions. Each Week, I'm making an update post on what's happening in the ecosystem and how I'm doing personally.</b></center>

Another week where the same problems remain to be the case in Sorare and my interest in the game keeps dropping week by week. I'm trying to sell some of my more powerful players that are not playing in Belgium, but there simply aren't any buyers to pick them up at decent prices. I did manage to get a surprise Tier 3 reward ending in a 228th place out of 15k+ enties. However, its just worth under 2$ so yeah.

<b><h3>New Upcoming Lock System ?</h3></b>

After only 4 seasons, the same issue is there in the MLB and with the start of the new season they introduced some changes which introduces a lock system. For limited if you seal cards, you will receive a rewards increase for the in-season competitions. For limited this is up to 400 cards which would give a +15% boost. As many cards can be sealed but only 1 each day can be unsealed. There is also a new energy system that will allow Old cards to be used in-season and players can also get a individual rewards bonus based on how many of the older versions you have in your vault.

Overall, it just feels like the next step in a model that is just not sustainable. While it the same time it will clean up my collection to choose from when selection lineups.  What they should do is set a max limit on each player and if that is reached an old card needs to be burned for a new season one to be minted. Also there should be a maximum player field in each competition as it's just requires way too high scored to actually win something.

A Solid overall score and on paper an ok reward with a Tier 3 if it wasn't for the crazy overprinting based on the playerbase which makes the card near worthless.

<b>Player Transfers & Reward Card</b>

I didn't buy anything, letting the 50% discount expire as it feels like a cursed reward which on the end either costs time or money. I also didn't manage to sell any cards as all the ones I put on sale at the lowest price got undercut quickly with nobody even picking those up.

I did win Luciano Valente who playing in the eredivisie with a 49 average score as a 20-year-old which isn't bad but won't help to win any prizes likely. So it goes for 1.5$ on the market.

<b><h4>Season 2024-2025 Owned Collection Value</h4></b>

It's fairly easy to track your personal earnings on the <a href="https://sorarebase.football/cards/95911/eur/">Sobase.Football</a> website. We seem to be at a point again where the rewards don't fully compensate for the drop in card values over time as more get printed and dumped on the market.

I am no longer putting outside funds into Sorare at this point and will track my total account value from here on out weekly. It's been pretty much a race to the bottom as sorare isn't able to come up with dynamics where card prices hold their value.

<b><h4>Conclusion</h4></b>The enjoyment that I'm getting from <a href="https://sorare.com/r/costanzabets">Sorare</a> surely has gone down a lot as they fail to fix some of the core issues. If I win something or manage to break even I'm already a happy player. Given the continued inflation, this is a game and not an investment.
