I hear what you say, but the problem, as we saw it in the last couple of days, when bitcoin tanks, all other cryptos tanks too ... so what do you do about that ?

In theory China has the power to centralize all crytpo currencies. If one became a better proposition they could simply just convert their miming rigs to mine them instead. Bitcoin is like a kid that has been playing in the dirt all his life and has contracted every kind of virus or bacteria out there but the kid is thriving because he has developed a strong immune system. 
If the Chinese try to shut down the miners electricity supply then they cut their own throats. These giant mining rigs are located in outer areas of China in small villages. They pay huge sums to the local council authority and to the local police in bribes because we all know China is corrupt as hell. 
And so the Chinese Govt tells these smaller communities to shut down the Bitcoin miners. So they shut them down for a few days and then inform the Govt that they have done their duty. Then they just switch them back on because they dont want to lose the money they have become used to. The Chinese are some of the most innovative crooks on the planet. So the Chinese Govt stopping Bitcoin- well good luck with that.

For people who can't afford or dont want to lose the money they have invested, I can understand if they sell.  They don't need to justify their situation to anyone else.

For some people though, it's about making a stand on the principle of decentralization.  The centralized authorities can scare the speculators out of the market, but they can't scare the idealists away.

Those who are in it for the principles it represents will keep promoting and using Bitcoin despite the price fluctuations, because they know the end goal is worth more than the profit they make (or potentially don't make) along the way.

i love that you film this outside.   you have great powerful energy and logical mind.   There is a lot of reason in your words.   I have tried to follow.. then tried to get involved in this whole system.   I am so confused and taken back by conflicting informations and world affairs through politics and economics that im in a sit back moment sorda wow!    Im with you "Thats not freedom"  those are words that go through my mind all the time.   There is to much confusion and distraction here for the masses.   Its gnona be interesting to see how this all pans out. Bitcoin and digital currencies are here to stay, don't worry!  Blockchain technology is HUGE!  Too much money by whales have been invested for this to happen.  I remember going to a theater in L.A. to wtch a bitcoin documentary and it was nothing but asians all up in there! lol
China loves and needs bitcoin.  Bitcoin just always has to go under pressure each and every year before it is considered a work of art.  I thought bitcoin was over when I heard about the dark markets and yet, here we still are!  If bitcoin dies, it will be another coin with a better rep that will overcome the crypto shadows ;)
