My First Batch of Incubated eggs hatch successfully!

Hey everyone. I have been in the poultry business for a while and to date never hatched a bird. Today that all changed.

So what took me so long and why now ?? We recently imported a few badly made incubators from China. They really have a terrible manufacturing reputation for good reason. They mass produce untested CRAP and ship globally without proper QC and R and D time and again and it's rather costly irritating and frustrating to put it very mildly.

We ordered 50 of these 360 egg units and after many days of testing realized there was a critical/fatal design and manufacture flaw in these units. We opened them up and made a few home style DIY alterations and improvements and then proceeded to test the units once we had done so. Great success for a first time hatch with a severely compromised and faulty machine.

The top picture on the right shows a humidifier which blasts too much water and has no system to regulate or control it is pretty much random resulting in drenched or dry eggs, we fixed this and began testing.

Our next test will be very interesting and experimental.. we are going to crack a few eggs into a clear plastic and see if we can hatch them that way outside the egg shell.. it has been done before.. Ill try it and report back with results in 3 weeks.
