Wow! This is incredible, I wonder how the bees got stuck on that couch, its something I haven't seen or heard of before. Its great to see that you were able to rescue the bees though....

I have always stayed away from bees because I was meant to believe that they will always want to sting me the moment they see me and when wearing a perfume, the rate at which they would wanna sting you is even higher. its cool to see that these didn't attack you guys, maybe they didn't attack because they have had very little contact with humans or maybe they haven't had to face any threat and that made them a bit passive.

Have you been stung by them a few times?

this is breathtaking job @craigcryptoking, bee combs on a couch! that's the most ridiculous place I ever know for a bees colony to dwell in. couldn't agree more with you.. they're smart and thier combs are amazing. 

wonder how they get the pollen and bring it to the couch everyday.. uhmm, they're just great and thanks for the rescue also congratulations for the @curie pick! the pictures are amazing, I stared at the combs more than a minutes, wondering how can they made it pricesly in measurement?

Wow this is so cool. Those bees must have been couch potatoes lol.

Oh man, this is so wholesome and heartwarming, I love bees and seeing someone take care of them after the hard time they're getting around the worlds makes me feel fuzzy inside, loved the relocation procedure, is that bee paradise a faciliy to rescue bees or is just a regular bee farm?

Great post! It is incredible how organized and efficient the bees are!  They can make any place their home and even in a couch produce their delicious honey.  It is a great job you are doing rescuing the bees and helping people too.  Congratulations!

A couch!?! I have heard of bees found in many places, but never a couch hahah. I enjoyed hearing of your technique to remove them safely and am glad to hear you will be relocating them, they look like a healthy hive!

How on Earth did the bees get to that couch up to the point of building the comb that big without the couch owner trying to swat them away from the very start!? Was the couch in a garage or storage area that the owners did not immediately notice the bees starting to invade the beloved wrecked couch?

It is amusing to know your process of dealing with bees when I always had the impression that dealing with them is dangerous. When I saw the movie Leave No Trace, there was a scene there where it presents getting the creatures' trust that they don't sting humans. Is that true? The characters in the movie have bees in their hands just like a catterpillar.

Hmmm, someone attached to a decrepit couch and docile bees. It didn't smell like a smoking den, did it? ;) 
I'm still in awe at them sorting out the elastic bands. What amazing, efficient creatures.

Hey @craigcryptoking, it was nice of you to do this voluntarily. Not everyone of us not scare of bees. Hmm bee in the couch huh. Since the owner has a romantic attachment to the couch. I bet the bees sense it, normally bee would attract to plants or flowers. But these bees attracted by a romantic couch.. How sweet.  
I love what you did, it very meaningful to the locals and to the bees as well. You give bees a new home and the citizen away from bees. You in this field for how long? You did it immediately when you receive a call or you only do it during weekend? Sorry for a lot of questions because I am very excited on this job of yours.

That is amazing story to find bees in a couch and how hard they had been working.  You have done a great job, as we know the bees nowadays have it so hard with all the pesticides so that the number of them quite reduced.  Nevertheless people still love honey and we are not going to stop loving it in future. The pictures you have made showing so nice the tiny honeycomb filled with honey and you are right it is recognizable to see the little larvae. Nice result of professional work, relocation is safe and completed, hopefully they will enjoy their new home.

Hah this was such a cool article! People do get attached to the most peculiar things. The swarm looks great and I think it's brilliant that you have a system set up for helping others, helping and saving bees, building your hives, and the folks who call you get free honey! I love it. It's awesome to see what happens when people work together and share kindness.
And bees do embody kindness and vibrational healing energy! Wins all around, impressive.
