A few days ago, I was reading random world news and became aware of a **birthrate incentive program** in Russia. This sounded a bit strange and unexpected, I got interested in the topic and paid some attention. In an attempt to avoid a market imbalance, the Russian government would be subsidizing young mothers, encouraging them to have children early, at the beginning of their youth. This detail struck me because we live in a country where the goal is to delay motherhood so that young people can study first. Contrary to this idea, money would be paid as an incentive for having children.

An older issue that I know about in this same topic of population control is the failure in the demographic pyramid of some countries that were involved in wars. This means there was a significant population decrease during specific years, and growth returned soon after.

### The Trend is Population Growth

On the opposite side of Russia, we have China, which used to control the number of children per couple, imposing difficulties on those who had more children. This was because they intended to curb population growth as it was an excessively populated country. Now the scenario has changed!

Aos meu sempre amigos da comunidade *HiveLearners*, minhas melhores saudações! 

A poucos dias, estava lendo notícias aleatórias do mundo e tomei conhecimento de que existe um programa de **incentivo à natalidade** na Rússia. Isso soou um pouco estranho e inesperado, fiquei interessado no tema e prestei um pouco de atenção. A notícia dizia que existe um perigo populacional, onde jovens estariam optando por não ter filhos, como se fosse um movimento de consciência coletiva, o que poderá causar um desabastecimento de mão-de-obra no curto espaço de tempo. Basicamente, na próxima geração não haveria novos trabalhadores o suficiente.

Pensando em evitar o descontrole do mercado, o governo Russo estaria subsidiando jovens mães, incentivando para que tenham filhos, e que isso seja feito de forma precoce, logo no começo da juventude. Esse detalhe me causou estranheza, pois vivemos em um país onde se procura retardar a maternidade, para que jovens e adolescentes possam estudar primeiro. Na contramão dessa ideia, seriam pagos valores em dinheiro como incentivo para geraram filhos.
 
Uma questão mais antiga que eu conheço nesta mesma temática de controle populacional é a falha na pirâmide demográfica de alguns países que se envolveram em guerras. O que significa que houve uma grande baixa na população durante alguns anos específicos, e que o crescimento voltou em seguida.

### A tendência é o crescimento populacional
  
Do lado oposto da Rússia, temos a China que realizava o controle do número de filhos por casal, impondo dificuldades para aqueles que tiverem mais filhos. Isso porque pretendam frear o crescimento da população, pois eram um pais excessivamente povoado. Agora o cenário é outro!

- Política do Filho Único (1979–2015):

Com o envelhecimento da população e o declínio das taxas de natalidade, o governo passou a permitir dois filhos por casal.

- Política dos Três Filhos (2021):
O governo ampliou novamente o limite, agora permitindo até três filhos por casal, na tentativa de reverter a tendência de queda populacional.

- Política atual (2025):

Achei muito interessante saber que a **Faixa de Gaza**, região onde hoje ocorre o conflito mais terrível que vivenciei neste planeta, era tida como a quinta localização mais habitada do planeta, com uma densidade tão significativa que nem sei como expressar. 

Curioso caso do **Vaticano** também, que possui muito mais pessoas por quilômetro quadrado do que o Brasil, onde moro, que está apenas na 65º posição. Claro que temos uma região de floresta que ajuda a manter esse número baixo. Se essa região for desconsiderada, o que teríamos?

Sem a Amazônia Legal, o Brasil tem uma densidade semelhante à do México e superior à da África do Sul e Argentina, mas ainda bem abaixo da de países europeus como Alemanha e França. Esse dado foi tabelado com ajuda de inteligência artificial.

Enquanto construia esse artigo aprendi que existe muita divergência entre os países ao redor do mundo. E mesmo entre os continentes podemos perceber que a distribuição da população no globo é desigual. Alguns países sofrem pelo excesso, outros procuram meios de se manterem.

Ao final deste texto acabei por ficar em dúvidas sobre se existe um meio correto e definitivo de intervenção governamental que possa ser aplicado para todos os povos. Acabei por tomar partido que cada país deve pensar em seus próprios objetivos e trabalhar para que se concretize sua necessidade.
