Hola. Bienvenidos a mi blog, en esta oportunidad te quiero mostrar cómo hacer un delicioso postre frío con tan solo tres ingredientes. Prepárate a conocer esta sencilla receta. Comenzamos.

🍋 Tres parchitas.
🍋 Tres cucharadas de maicena o fécula de maíz.
🍋 Cuatro cucharadas de azúcar blanca.

>🍋 Three patches.
🍋 Three tablespoons of cornstarch or cornstarch.
🍋 Four tablespoons of white sugar.

Separa la pulpa de la cáscara de las tres parchitas, reservando la mitad de una.

Pon la pulpa en el colador. Luego agrega tres tazas de agua (si están bastante ácidas las parchitas)
Remueve hasta extraer la mayor concentración de jugo posible.

Stir to extract the highest concentration of juice possible.

Recuela para que quede mas concentrado. 
Vierte en un recipiente una taza del jugo extraído y la otra parte la colocas en la olla donde la vas a cocinar.

>Recuela so that it is more concentrated.
Pour a cup of the extracted juice into a container and place the other part in the pot where you are going to cook it.

Incorpora las cuatro cucharadas de azúcar blanca y monta la olla en la estufa. 
En la taza de jugo que reservaste mezcla tres cuacharadas llenas de maicena.
Cuando esté bien caliente, a punto de hervir incorpora el jugo con la maicena. Remueve constantemente hasta que espese.

In the cup of juice that you reserved, mix three tablespoons full of cornstarch.
When it is hot, about to boil, add the juice with the cornstarch. Stir constantly until thickened.

La parchita es una fruta rica en vitamina C. Se cultiva en casi toda Venezuela. Es conocida en otras regiones como [Maracuyá]( https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passiflora_edulis) La parchita es una de mis frutas favoritas. Me encanta consumirla en jugos, compotas, quesillos y tortas.

Cuando haya espesado la mezcla, la bajas del fuego y dejas reposar unos minutos. 
Luego incorpora la pulpa de media parchita que reservaste. (Opcional)
Sírvela y espera que enfríe muy bien. Una hora aproximadamente y estará lista para degustar. 

>When the mixture has thickened, lower it off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
Then add the pulp of half a passion fruit that you reserved. (Optional)
Serve it and wait for it to cool very well. An hour or so and it will be ready to taste.

Deliciosa compota de Parchita. Ideal para merendar, es muy dulce y refrescante.
