Cuando venía de regreso a San Fernando, en la parte de Ortiz acostumbran a vender chicharrones y yo venía pensando en hacer una par de arepas con chicharrón porque se lo mucho que le gustan a mi mamá, así que traje una bolsita.

Mi mamá le gusta tanto el chicharrón que se lo puede comer como si fuera una merienda así, por eso decidí que rinde y es mejor un compartir de arepas bien criollas cómo estás.

| 250 g | Chicharron |
| Mantequilla |

Son pocos los ingredientes, pero te aseguro no te arrepentirás, porque la masa agarra un sabor único que suelta el ingrediente especial que es el chicharrón.

Por supuesto que en un bolw coloco agua abundante.

Hay que colocarle sal, y revolver para que se unifique.

Se va agregando la harina poco a poco para que vaya agarrando textura.

Le agrego los chicharrones picados en pequeños trozos y los voy dejando humedecer.

Agrego un poquito más de harina para poder ir amasando.

Ya puedo ir amansando mientras se van unificando el chicharrón y soltando los jugos dentro de la masa, para darle un sabor único.

Siempre me gusta amasar bien para que las arepas queden suavecitas, así que no hagas esto apurado, invierte tiempo, ese es el secreto.

Tomas una pequeña masa y las boleas, luego la aplastas con pequeñas palmadas dándole una forma redonda, así es una arepa.

Así las vas colocando en el budare a fuego termino medio.

Vuelve a repetir las acciones hasta llenar el budare de arepas.

El budare mío es mediano caben unas cuatro arepas.

Al estar listas la volteo para que se cocinen del otro lado.

Ya estando lista llamo a mi mamá para rellenar le su arepa de chicharrón con queso.

La abro a la mitad le coloco mantequilla y queso.

Sigo rellenando mis arepas y llamo a mi tío y mi papá que son los otros invitados.

Es el mismo procedimiento, cortar a la mitad mientras esten bien caliente, la mantequilla y el queso son el mejor relleno.
