75,000 Web and Android Scholarships from Google and Udacity - [Just sent my Application]

Udacity in partnership with Google [just announced 75,000 scholarships](https://www.udacity.com/google-scholarships) for which submissions are already being received. Applications are due October 15, 2017. The recipients of the scholarships will be notified by October 30, 2017 and the program begins November 6, 2017. 

These are available for residents of Europe, Russia, Egypt, Israel, and Turkey. There are two learning paths that you can choose from: Web Developer and Android Developer. 30,000 seats are available for each. The programs take place 100% online, making a working internet connection the only requirement you need. 

Once accepted, you will be placed into one of two tracks, beginner or programmer, based on your experience. 

3-months in and the top 2,000 students from the beginner track and the top 1,000 students from the programmer track will be further awarded scholarships to relevant Udacity Nanodegrees (Android Basics, Android Developer, Front End Web Developer, and Mobile Web Specialist). 

I already submitted my application this morning. It literally took 5-6 minutes to complete it. You have to fill in: 

- some background information
- prerequisite knowledge (to assess your skill level)
- your goals (what you want to achieve with this program)

Once you submit the application, you can still make edits to it before the deadline, which is October 16, 2017. To be honest, I'd encourage everyone who's excited about programming and computer science to try their shot. There's nothing to lose, just a couple of minutes from your time. And who knows, you might be on your way to become a reputable developer.
