Hive users may have noticed speed increases after Hard Fork 26 (HF26), maybe not. But, I certainly have. Running the LUV and Hivebits bots, I've seen a dramatic speed increase. I thought I'd show a little before-and-after comparison here.

### Before HF26

It took around one minute or more to go from posting a <code>!LUV</code> command to having the token sent to its recipient. See the animated gif below made pre-HF26:

### After HF26

The time from <code>!LUV</code> to token sent was reduced to about 18 seconds! See below:

### What's more...

What's more amazing is that HF26 seemed almost too fast for the bots to keep up. The speed got in the way of the bots doing what they do on the back end and threw off the order of things. The solution was to insert a delay, to actually slow the bot down, so that it then worked. [More details here](https://peakd.com/hive-159259/@crrdlx/hive-community-members-helping-each-other).

The result...even with a built in slow-down delay, the post-HF26 process is *still* considerably faster than before!

Rather amazing, I'd say. 😀
