Three days is a charm, but not four
I think I made it three straight days in the NaBloPoMo (National Blog Post Month). (Ironically by the way, the acronym is harder for me to remember than the actual words.) The challenge is to blog every day during November. I think made it three days and then missed. And then I think I missed again.

That's all fine by me though. This is the case mostly because I'm deftly hesitant to post-for-the-sake of posting. I'm tip-toeing on thin ice as I type right now! Secondly, I set my goal at 50% because I know how I am.

#setyourgoalslow so you never fail and always achieve.* 😀

To try and avoid blogging about blogging about a blogging month, there are two things currently spinning the hamster wheel in my chipmunk brain.

1. We had a pot luck dinner at church today to show appreciation to our pastor and his wife. I prepared a pasta salad and added in some finely chopped celery and carrots (I like a crunch) and some sliced black pearl olives. In the serving bowl, it looked yummy, but puny. A bit embarrassingly, I added it to the lineup. It was indeed yummy, along with pulled pork, sides, desserts and all the other accoutrements folks brought. The thing that never ceases to amaze me is how at such a pot luck dinner, there consistently is an abundance of food. It really puzzles me how that happens. But, every single time...lots of yummy food and lots to take home. I wound up taking a little less than half of my pasta salad home. I might feel bad that "no one liked it," but, I saw how much food was left and it wasn't just me.

2. Tomorrow, I'll be on a plane doing some here-to-there flying. I don't recall if I've flown since COVID, I think I did once. Still, somehow it seems like it will be an adventure (even though it's a non-stop and should be a piece of cake). Not sure why exactly. Maybe a photo will headline a traveling post tomorrow or in the near future!

My NaBloPoMo is shaping up!

>*No, do the opposite, set your goals high. 🙂
