My mother has spent a little more than ten years suffering from an illness that has wiped the smile off her face, and although she seemed happier most of the time, her children and family know how bad she is going through, she seems to be happy and that is how she makes all of us who share moments with her feel. 
<p></p>
That terrible disease, whose name I do not want to name, has wreaked havoc in my mother's body, and although she seems happier inside I know that she keeps the fear of not being with us anymore, and that same fear floods my life. May God protect and watch over my mother's health.
