Daily Stock Discussion for Monday November 23

So I’ve been busy with work and slightly under the weather so I was not able to post this morning. I actually like switching it up a bit by doing a market recap.

There morning was filled with a quick dump and a bit of early afternoon chop. We ended up with a nice bullish pop which was triggered by the Yellen news. That momentum carried into the close and after market we have creeping back up to $360.

The VIX got crushed this afternoon which triggered that run.

Looks like a solid level of consolidation after a good run. Next up is 20K!

We hit that $90 level as BTC creeps up. I think we still have a bunch of catch up to match the BTC/LTC ratio.

I made a 10 call SPY $359 call trade for a quick $400 this afternoon. I also bought another 30 LTC at $87.

You are going to laugh...  I got an email from, my broker the other day.  A while ago he moved from Wells Fargo to Baird and took me with him as a client.  He wanted to know if I wanted to invest my cash I had built up into a specific fund.  I was like "shouldn't that have just been happening automatically anyway?".  Turns out with the move the auto buy wasn't working, so all this time I was just depositing cash and not building up my holdings in my Roth IRA. :P

This makes me so mad! These guys are useless and honestly that feels like a failure of duty... I say roll that Roth over to vanguard and manage it yourself. This is not the first time I have heard of this. I had a co worker complain about her Roth how it was not growing so she met me into her account she had been depositing funds into the account but it was just going to a money market fund because they never set up actual fund deposits. She lost 5 years of investing because she did not know.

Dang, that really sucks.  This guy has been pretty decent.  I don't hate him, I just know he is making a living like the rest of us.  It drives me a little crazy when he talks about going to his cabin because I would love to own a cabin and I know he bought that off of our backs, but despite the rare hiccups I can't really complain.  I can't say as though I would do a better job managing it myself.  I always tease him I want to put it all into Bitcoin.  He doesn't usually find that funny :)
