A luxury watchmaker by the name of Hublot is [creating a limited edition watch](https://www.hublot.com/en/news/get-ready-for-hublot-s-big-bang-launch-in-the-field-of-blockchain-technology) to commemorate the 10th anniversary of bitcoin next January. The model will only be sold for bitcoin, and there will be a limited run of 210 watches (a nod to bitcoin’s limited 21 million supply). Named the Big Bang timepiece, it will incorporate ‘elements taken from bitcoin’ in its design, as well as the iconic TV comedy show, *Big Bang Theory* (which recently featured an episode all about bitcoin).

Now, critics might complain that Hublot are simply jumping on the bandwagon and looking to cash in on the crypto craze, with some Big Bang references thrown in just to make sure all 210 sell. And frankly, they’d probably be right.
